the view to a certain extent was good the walk area behind it was wonderful would have loved being on the front but just what we could see was breathtaking. overall the stay was enjoyable the service at the front desk both evening was remarkable the rep on duty each night was highly professional and friendly and courteous. location was convenient for our excursions easily accessible thanks for leaving the lights on(lol)

There were no outlets to charge any of our devices, we had to move the furniture to get to any outlets and they were no where near the table or bed. The cable box was fixed to the wall and faced a way that you had to get out of bed and go to the other side of the room to change channels.

Poorly maintained room
The room was satisfactorily clean and the service desk was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very very hard. There were number instances or broken and poorly maintained room/property. For instance the porch/balcony door would not even shut properly. The best I could get it was with about a 1 inch open air gap at the bottom of the sliding door. The bathroom door would not shut properly due to the frame being askew. Furniture had broken veneer etc. I normally use the soap and shampoo provided by hotels but only a small bar of soap was furnished so I had to buy shampoo locally. We were told that housekeeping doesn't enter your room if you stay multiple nights due to "Covid", which meant that no trash was taken out, no clean towels placed in room etc. When we needed fresh towels we had to go to the front desk to get them. Basically this property is dated and is not being maintained well.

It was so quite and peaceful here enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning listing to the sound of the birds, had a breeze at all times coming in off the lake. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, Bed was so comfy we will be back for sure. TY for a wonderful relaxing stay!

No refund, got paid twice, loud help dirty
Well to start off I was supposed to get a free night from my rewards program, and that went through okay but the hotel said they could not accept that so they made me pay cash, my reward did go through so they actually got paid twice and they refused to refund luckily my rewards program was nice enough to refund me even though it wasn't their responsibility. Secondly the hotel was fairly comfortable but the help started at 8:00 just slamming doors dragging desks or chairs around everywhere it was very loud right at 8:00 a.m. almost seem like it was on purpose it was so loud. We had a lovely view of the green nasty looking pool that had drywall falling off in it. We had a shared balcony the curtain was left open on our next door room I think I took some pictures I'll look and post them if I find them but it was absolutely disgusting, don't know why it had not been cleaned the day before I think they're running low on help like everybody else is. Anyway this is the first bad review I've ever left I really don't like leaving bad reviews cuz most of the time things are pretty good but between the no refund them getting paid twice, and the noise also the call to tell me that I had to pay in cash because something with their card system wasn't working called me right in the middle of my family's vacation so I lost 30 minutes of precious time with my kids there, and then have the nerve not to refund me after they had been paid wow I will not be staying in a motel 6 anywhere ever aga

Very unkept grounds -dog poop and goose poop everywhere -this hotel has roaches seen in last day there-sliding glass door in dire need of replacement -no seating in patio -located at entrance to a very nice neighborhood -view of lake -such a sad existence for this motel 6

The man at the check in desk was very kind and welcoming. The people at the time of check out were ok. Parking was good - I felt safe with my car parked outside. The room wasn’t anything special. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, the bedding was cheap, you get 1 small bar of soap for the shower and 1 small bar of soap for your hands. The walls are very thin, luckily our neighbors were quiet though. It seemed like a safe area. I think it’s overpriced for what you get. It’s an ok place to sleep for a quick night, but I wouldn’t stay here for more than that.

Do NOT stay here.
The only good thing about this place was the man who checked me in. He was delightful and very helpful. I checked in late and he helped me find a place to eat. To start off...the stairs are so steep you feel like you are going to fall. I had to get my luggage up the stairs and it was not easy. Coming down the next day was almost impossible because of how steep and unsafe they are that another guest saw me struggling and helped. The interior is nasty. The AC unit had what looked like ketchup or blood who knows STUCK on the unit. It was NOT rust. It was puffy and gross. The curtains in front of the window were half on and half off. I put the desk in front of the sliding glass window bc i did not feel safe. The front door did not shut the entire way. I could see outside even though it was locked. I put my luggage and another table up against the door because again i did not feel safe. The bathroom was decent i guess. I only used the toilet. I did NOT use the shower. The bed linens looked so filthy. I do not know if they were stained or what but i wen to my car and used my sleeping bag on top of the bed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and i barely got any sleep. Please spend a little more and stay somewhere else. Do NOT come here.

Not much to recommend this one, sadly. We asked for downstairs room but were put upstairs. No elevator so my disabled husband had to climb stairs multiple times. Bathroom and windows were dirty. Had to hike two buildings away to find ice. Beds were really hard.

Check in was fine. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Soon realized that there was no shampoo so i had to go to the front desk to get some packets. There wasn't a hair dryer either. The shower itself wasn't fun either. The water would not stay hot, cold or warm. It would randomly go to another temp. We stayed Friday to Sunday. We used our towels Saturday morning and assumed we would have clean ones that night. We returned to the room and realized that we didn't have clean ones. I went to the front desk and was told that they didnt have housekeeping Saturday and had no clean towels. We went back to town and came back and my husband went to the front desk. He was a little more annoying than me and the clerk went to the laundry room and got some. He told us that several people were upset that they didn't have towels. He just didn't want to do his job. I know I won't be back to a Motel 6.

The staff was so kind and helpful. The rooms need updating and lots of things to be fixed. Our room had holes in the wall and curtain. We had mattresses and box springs outside of our balcony. The room was non smoking but the smell of smoke was terrible. We had no trash can in our room or bathroom. We feel that the motel needs lots of updates and rooms need to be fixed. Again the staff was very pleasant and the room was clean when we arrived this is only about the property itself. We loved the pricing of the rooms but did consider canceling the next night and paying a little bit extra because the room was just not satisfactory because of the things that needed to fixed or replaced.

I went to hotel to confirm my reservation. She told me my name was not listed so I made a reservation at a different hotel. They charged my card for two rooms. I called them and she said I didn’t show up so I do not get a refund.

I was worried based on the other reviews saying it’s loud and dirty and unsafe. This was by far the best motel 6 I’ve ever seen. Normally they look run down. This one didn’t. We stayed 3 nights and never heard a single person. It was clean and in a good location. I would stay here again!

The outside of the building looked ok.. check in time was at 3 but didn't get into our room till after4:30pm... Spiders were in our bathroom black specks were in the bed and the bed itself was horrible I felt every spring in the mattress.. the staff had great customer service though
