It was horrible. It had roaches, no microwave, a non working refrigerator, and that was just the beginning.

We are sorry for any inconveniences that you may have had. Did you tell anyone about the roaches? What room were you in so we can address that issue? As for the microwave I am sorry that your room did not have one as we have just bought this hotel in March and have been buying new things for the rooms and renovating the hotel as well. We hope you come back next time and directly address those issues with management before you stay in the room with these inconveniences and then talk about it after the fact.

Hotel within a few short miles of downtown!

I booked this hotel through Expedia for 4 nights and paid 365 bucks. As we were checking in the hotel manger asked why we didn't call and book? He said it would have only been 265 bucks and would have gotten a free night! So NEVER use Expedia! They charged 100 dollars for the crappy service!

Expedia is a third party company and they are paid for finding us people who like the convenience of booking online. It's always best to go there and check rates but always call around to make sure you're getting the best deal. I'm very sorry you had to go through that.

that was the most horrid wretched stay ever!!!!

That was the most horrible wretched place I've ever stayed in my whole life. There was a dead bug on the bed the second pass it ran all night it wouldn't shut off, there was water on the bathroom floor that came from somewhere, it reeked of smoke, it looks like a dump to where we didn't even feel safe staying there. The only right thing to do would be to credit me back the money from this day I have never stayed in such a place. It was so disgusting I can't Believe anyone is allowed to keep the business open that is like that.

Pros: nothing
Cons: Honor reservations,secure room fix torn curtains
We booked a King No Smoking Room had a print out for this,we arrive by 4:00 pm and they had given our reserved room away,said we had booked for Smoking they said that didn't have anymore and first said there were no non smoking rooms available I am very allergic to smoke told them this they finally gave us a full no smoking room very uncomfortable for us.The Sliding glass door was put in backwards and would not lock not secure at all curtain was torn and hanging from the sliding door we had to tie up the best we could for some privacy had to take our stuff when we left room due to not being secure. We had a copy of our reservations saying no smoking very poor management,also pool not open .

Sorry for the inconvenience you've had at the hotel. As for your reservation for a non-smoking room, we did get you that and as of the sliding door, we did not personally put them in as we just bought this hotel in March and the doors were already installed and some of them are installed for left handed people. Red carpet nightmare

The room was outdated filthy and very smelly even the linen was dirty horrible experience

As we have just bought this hotel in March we have been doing the best we can to fix all of the problems that came with the place for it to be more comfortable for everyone. Knight's Inn is closed! It's a different hotel now that didn't have my reservation, so I had to stay somewhere else!

We are sorry that you were under the impression that we were still the Knights Inn but Expedia wouldn't change the name or take The Knights Inn off their website. As i understand this may have been an inconvenience for you we have worked hard and it even took us a couple months but we are now The Red Carpet Inn on Expedia and all other internet providers.
