The best vacation at Grand Park Royal hotel

We would like to thank all staff of Hotel Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe. Especially Ubaldo, Jandi, Felipe, Xitali, and Roberto. Ubaldo, the restaurant manager is an amazing person who made our vacation feel like Heaven. Thank you Ubaldo. Jandi, the concierge, was especially helpful, giving us information we needed. Thank you Jandi. Felipe, the front office worker, helped with anything and everything we needed. Thank you Felipe. Xitali is the best latte maker there :-) We miss you all and will definitely go back to Cancun and stay at this hotel again. The food was thoroughly delicious and splendidly well made. Every night, the buffet had a different theme for food so we did not need to worry about getting tired of eating the same food over and over again. Our rooms were cleaned daily with care and it was difficult to find any problems. This was an amazing experience. I highly recommend coming to this hotel.

Good Vacation, friendly staff

Pros: all rooms have ocean view.
Cons: less pushing about time share
Location: good location, close to ots of activities.
We had a great time at this resort. Staff members were very friendly, helpful. One of the waiter, Hector, at main dining room went extra mile to introduced us to Jose Cuervo, the most traditional tequila, at Mexican night. We went to all three formal dining room. They were nice, good food. Just a small incident with our waiter, Roger, at El Mirado. He was nice at the beginning but turned little rude a while after. We guessed it was because we did not order a bottle of wine??? Releasing baby turtles to sea was a surprise, extra activity that we participated.

Fabulous location, food, music,service, ocean-view

While looking at our Grand Park Caribe Royal, Cancun pictures, we all joined in a collective sigh and recognized that vacation glow that can only happen when each moment went well, or in this case, was unforgettable. From the moment Mr. Darwin cheerfully greeted us, setting up the welcoming and friendly tone of Grand Park Caribe Royal, we knew we were going to have an excellent time. At the front desk we mentioned to him that we had made a mistake when booking, and he was able to help us by providing us with upgrading choices. He also seem to have guessed the amenities each of us were going to enjoy when addressing each one of the members of my family. We all agree that the food is exquisite, especially the authentic Mexican dishes in the all inclusive buffet and four course meal restaurants. Dinning while being serenade by Mexican guitars and guitarrones set a very festive atmosphere. The entertainment and games were varied for different ages and all of them engaging. Most of all, the location of the hotel and our view from our balcony allowed us to have very special encounters with nature and to breath in the beauty of such such breathtaking beaches and multi-blue-turquoise waters.

The entire experience was just perfect!!!!!!! The room was clean and had the best view to wake up in the morning listening to the waves and seeing the sun rise and the sunset.

Just right!

Pros: size, amenities, entertainment, view, staff
This resort was neither too large nor too small. You could easily traverse the entire property, and it was convenient getting to restaurants, pool, beach, and entertainment. The room was immaculate -- bed was a little too firm for our taste, but not a huge problem, and the linens and pillows were great. Great view from room of the pool and ocean. Buffet had less choices than larger resorts but the food was good, and the restaurants were a great alternative -- you could choose to visit one of those for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The snack bar near the pool was excellent, and the transition at night to street tacos -- DELICIOUS. Two locations for ice cream snacks, and the coffee shop was a special treat. The entertainment staff was fun -- great, warm, welcoming, fun personalities -- each and every one. Something we had not expected -- the turtle sanctuary and the opportunity to see turtles coming ashore to lay eggs, then see the eggs carried to safety in the protected areas, and even see hatchlings returning to the sea -- more education for your guests (so that they don't disturb the process) would be welcome and appreciated, I'm sure. I would go again to this resort just for the turtle experience, but the rest of it was also delightful!

Nice Hotel, great beach and awesome staff!

Pros: Staff, Royal Tower rooms and restaurants
Cons: BEDS!! More to do on the property
This is was our 4th time to Cancun and 1st time to this property. The hotel was very clean and the staff VERY attentive. We upgraded to the Royal tower so we got all the benefits with that. The 3 restaurants were excellent but the buffet was very average, same food over and over. The room in the Royal Tower was spectacular and super clean BUT the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have EVER slept on which really took away from a relaxing week away. I travel for work and have stayed in hundreds of hotels so I am not that picky! It was like sleeping on a block of cement, I would not go back for this reason alone!! The pools were nice but nothing to write home about. The smaller pool by the towers was very quiet, no or very infrequent music playing. The location is ok but nothing super close without a cab or bus ride. Just an average property in my opinion.

We liked the hotel very much, mi kids enjoyed it a lot. The service is good, the people very friendly. PROS: good location, great service, nice staff, nice beach CONS: Good food, not great. Some services like elevator not working properly. Small details on the room like painting or windows not in optimal conditions (good condition not optimal) , this is a GRAND Hotel, it should be perfect.

Beautiful resort, great food & courteous staff

The hotel filled my expectations, I was scared with many comments I read, but I was fascinated with the service, the staff so courteous and the food so splendid from the breakfast to the dinner, a lot of choices. They make me feel so good and forget about the rooms clean and new with a sea view that takes your breath away. I fell in love with Cancun, with his people and with the Hotel. I wish I could stay longer, but i will definitely return soon and recommend this Hotel. Thank you for make my vacations unforgettable.
