The location is the only good thing about it

The rooms are disgusting, not clean. Mould on everything including the bed head. We didn't shower the whole time we were there because the state of the shower was disgusting. Will not be staying here again

Great Beach Access

Clean, quiet, private beach access and great pools. Walking distance to restaurants and night life. Must try their passion fruit daiquiri. Very friendly staff and great place for the whole family.

Great location in Punta Cancun!

Pros: location and beautiful beach
Location: close to Coco Bongo, Mandala and all the other clubs in the Cancun hotel zone
I loved my stay at this hotel! it was so convenient to walk to the popular Cancun Clubs and restaurants and it had a beautiful beach. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the rooms were super spacious. I was staying on the 12th floor and the view was amazing! The food was good too and there were a lot of options for picky eaters. I will definitely recommend this hotel!

View of the crystalline ocean

Pros: Great postmodern architecture, with the hotel's circular design and features. The room had an excellent view of point Cancun. Very compact hotel, everything easily in reach. Short walk to downtown. Buffet for breakfast was not bad. Dinner even better. Very warm staff, friendly and accommodating. EXCELLENT BEACH, crystal clear warm Caribbean. Gorgeous infinity salt water pool that had a nice view of hotel zone, especially at night. Cons: not an all-inclusive. The hotel, although very visually appealing in its design, is due for an upgrade. The air conditioning was not able to be controlled in the room so it was a little too hot sometimes and this was a problem because I like to sleep cold. One night the water was shut off without warning and stayed off for most of the day. Not every facility was open everyday, for eg; the pool featured in the picture was not open till 3 days after arrival. Construction taking place to build a new facility.

As all hotels on this strip the beach and water ok

Pros: The beach and external facilities and the staff looking to do the best in a very difficult situation, always smiling and looking to provide happy mems
Cons: Refurbishment and staff training.
Location: The location is very good but it should be clear that hotels nearby are better organised with far superior facilities. It is not a 5 or 4 star hotel.
This hotel was a Hyatt but now is oversold and does not maintain the same level of comfort, service and quality food presentation. Water, sewerage and other smells permeate through the building creating an uncomfortable situation. The water and sewerage was turned off during our stay and we could not have a shower prior to departing the property for an early morning flight. The rooms and our family suite required maintenance for noisy air conditioning and in our case as a family most certainly bed replacement.

Smoke alarms and no water

The smoke alarms went off randomly during our stay. The water pressure fluctuated between a slow drizzle and nothing at all. The front counter staff was slow and took an hour to check in due to the person assisting us being new. None of his co-workers would assit him they watched as he struggled through the process. The staff spoke little to no English which is odd for a hotel that caters to Americans and Europeans.

Beautiful Beach and great value hotel

Pros: Location, cleanliness, value, Altitude club, every staff member was friendly and efficient
Cons: Hard mattress
I have stayed at the Krystal Grand two times and it is an excellent Cancun choice. A much better value than many Cancun options. It is not a large resort but a smaller hotel with a beautiful pool and excellent beach location. It is at the end of the pennisula so the water is very calm and perfectly clear. The beach is very wide and there are lots of covered seating areas so you can always find a place to sit. The rooms are very clean and the staff are always pleasant. Using the VIP service and the Altitude is club is a must! Free breakfast and cocktail hour from 5-7 so it certainly pays for itself. The restaurant prices are very good.. My only complaint is that our mattress was very hard. This is a great choice for a Cancun stay and is one of the best value options available.

The waitress the bartender Yolanda very nice people that treat you very well. The staff they have there make you feel at home. Always a nice place to visit.
