The staff is great. Always smiling and so helpful. Love the attentiveness at the pool; drinks, snacks, dry towels, anything we needed!! Counting the days til we go again.

It was great, for the most part

Pros: Great food, great service, beautiful garden & beach, beautiful view from every room.
Cons: Make sure the seafood is fully cooked, unless it's the sushi of coarse.
Location: I highly recommend the excursion to Chichen Itza which incl. lunch and a stop at a cenote. The Escaret excursion looked fun, I hope to go next time
We went to Live Aqua for our honeymoon and loved it! The hotel, it's grounds, pool and beach are gorgeous! The service team were fantastic and the food was amazing! Most of the time we were there, we stayed at the resort and to our surprise, didn't get bored at all. I only have two complaints. First being the "breakfast" that they pressure you to do to join their Vacation Club which is basically a time share to their hotels. No thank you. I'm not going to spend an hour and a half of my honeymoon listening to someone trying to get me to buy into a timeshare. So we didn't do it. Second, we did get food poisoning from some undercooked scallops and ended up spending a day in the hotel room and a week of stomach cramping. Honestly, I think this is a fluke and not a normal thing. I would still recommend this hotel because other than that one dish, the rest of the food was AMAZING!! Seriously though, AMAZING!! And they spoiled us with champagne and rose petals on the bed for it being our honeymoon. Very nice surprise!

Great Place

Pros: The staff is awesome, not one person made me feel unwelcomed.
Cons: The smell on level P near spa was not pleasant.
Location: Shopping, restaurants, and airport nearby.
Staff upgraded my room because of my anniversary. The location was perfect.

I went with my sister, we had the best time. Hotel Staff were very nice, the whole stay. Rooms were cleaned twice a day. Food was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great service, great food, drinks are consistency! Definitely go back. The only thing I would like to be able to use the sauna and steam room for free! The beach and ocean is beautiful!

Excellent facilities, staff were extremely nice and accommodating, and the food was amazing. Will definitely be going back to Live Aqua in the future!

Nice place. Super friendly staff

Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. Didn't care for the sales part of it at the first. The drinks are not very strong. The food portions are small but good. Most of all I think they need more and better music at the pool. The stuff they played is just to slow for a hot sunny day at the pool.

Beautiful resort

We have stayed at several all- inclusive resorts in the area and found this one was similar overall- we have loved them all. The only problems we had where a beeping fire alarm the first night and a leaky ceiling on our last night. Both of these problems were easily resolved though it did take two phone calls to correct the beeping smoke alarm. Overall the food was good and on par with other resorts though some dishes were a little saltier than necessary. Drinks were good especially if you ask for a double shot. I'd recommend the rum punch. We paid for an upgraded suite which was a large room with an unusable terrace. While large, the terrace was obstructed with a solid wall and foliage and too hot to sit on since it wasn't covered We were very disappointed to see all of the regular ocean rooms had spectacular view due to a clear barrier. Staff was amazing and always friendly. David and Diana in Siete were fantastic and always smiling and the juice guy there was exceptionally friendly. We also had a great spa massage and enjoyed the cabanas (I believe only included with the suites). Definitely would recommend and return but would get an ocean room for hundreds less.
