Man building need renovation. Some facilities are too old especially washroom.

Stresscation, DON'T STAY HERE. NOT ALL INCLUSIVE!!

Pros: I liked leaving this hotel best out of my experience there. I would like if I could write a longer review. Other guests shared in our disappointment.
Cons: Everything overall could be improved. My aunt and I went expecting standards that the Melia once held. The staff talked about desiring me to my Aunt.
Location: Get sexually harassed by staff and by local merchants. The one staff member asked my aunt to hug me, another said he wanted to sleep with me.
I'm astonished that this place has as many stars as it does. I feel tricked by expedia. I went with my Aunt to celebrate our birthdays, and regret wasting our money with expedia and this hotel. -One of the elevators closest to our rooms was hardly functional, my Aunt and I were stuck in the elevator briefly. -The throw pillows and decorative blanket at the foot of the bed were never cleaned. I saw the cleaning lady pick them off the floor and put them back onto the bed. -The blankets, sheet, and towels were stained. The blankets and sheets looked as if they were in a smoking room for years. Different towels had dark orange/yellow stains as big as the size of my fist. -My Aunt accidentally dropped a glass and we called room service so someone could help. No one ever came till the cleaning lady the next day. In that time my Aunt cut her foot, the blood wasn't cleaned till 2 days later. -My Aunt got sick from shrimp in their buffet, this was confirmed by their doctor that there was tainted shrimp served. -You have to make reservations for all but 2 of the restaurants, but most of them were closed unlike what expedia advertises. The food is low quality and undercooked in some cases. The same critique goes for room service. -An Optium rep processed a false charge for an expensive trip I didn't take. -Slippery floors, no wet floor signs. I saw an employee slip, then put one up only where he slipped. -We notified the front desk, they did nothing. -Our door didn't close till yanked.

Paradisus is a real Paradise

Wonderful staff, Great Amenities, Gorgeous view, Clean Room, Fantastic Beach, Delicious Food, Plenty of Dining options, Decent entertainment, Giant Pool.... Overall we had an excellent stay. Having traveled on the low season probably helped on the fact that we almost felt like that entire property was catering to us. No waits, no lines, no stress, very pleasant and fantastic time we had. 4 days went in a blink of an eye... Highly recommended!!

2nd trip to Cancun

Location: Aqua world across from Paradisus offers non-motorized activities as a part of all inclusive
Paradisus exceeded my expectations. This is our 2nd trip tp Cancun. We traveled in a group of 10 people. We chose Paradisus for the large pool area and beach. Our reception upon arrival was excellent. Judith explained dining options and all inclusive activities. We did attend the time share presentation, but ended up not benefiting from the discounts for attendance. Central atrium was open and pretty. It did get warm due to its size and exposure to sunlight. Our rooms were in good shape. There were signs showing its age. Restaurant options were very good. Not every restaurant was open nightly, so plan accordingly. I definitely recommend Fuego and Vento. I do not recommend Enso. Unfortunately we did not sample Mole. There was a nightly show at 8:30, overall very good. Staff was friendly and quick to respond. I definitely recommend this resort.

Very Nice Hotel on the Cancun Zona Hotelera

Pros: The beach was awesome. Restaurants for dinner are first class. Clean installations throughout
Cons: There is no outdoors hot tub in the hotel. It would be nice if they could build one. Incense burning inside the main building not to our taste
Location: Hotel right on the Zona Hotelera, tours can be purchased/arranged inside the hotel. Parasailing tents on the beach.
We stayed with an All Inclusive package for four nights. The staff is very friendly and courteous. A crew of people keep the ground spic and span. Restaurants that require reservation serve excellent food and liquor selection. Buffet and other smaller food outposts serve standard meals, nothing to die for. After check-in a sales person will approach you to see if you agree for a presentation to join the Melia Club. You can decline with no hard sales pressure if you accept they can offer a voucher for a big discount on other services i.e. spa, parasailing, etc. Beach is the best part of all this. White sand turquoise water small rocking waves (weather condition) Since this trip was on low season, we found plenty of chairs on the beach and on the pool. I guess this could change when the hotel is completely booked.

Pros: The hotel was clean Service was excellent. Rooms were very nice
Cons: Food and beverage
Location: CoCo Bongo. It was wonderful. XCaret. Fantastic. A must do
The only down fall was we went off season and the restaurants were not all open. So we had to eat at the buffet for almost every meal. Which was just average. The liquor did not taste great to me. Not what we are use to.

Nice and peaceful hotel by the beautiful beach

Overall, l was saticefied this stay and would like to recommend here to my friends. But some point l didn't like were the guest room was little aged. Especially the bathroom. Our bathroom door nob was broken and also shower water pressure was really weak like taking long time to rinse all kinds of soap off. Since we enjoy the beach and the pool alot this was pretty inconvinient. Other than that everything was perfect!

Pros: The service
Cons: The beach was rough and RED flagged during our whole stay there..
The service was really nice. whenever needed the hotel was always there to assist us. we changed room once (fresh paint smell) and had wifi issues in the room which was promptly fixed. I was really happy with the responsiveness of the team in the hotel to overcome our 2 issues.
