we had a good experience overall

Cons: they can definitely add some umbrellas around the pool are and beach. the entertainment is very bad,
the hotel is beautiful, its very true that theres no ac in the lobby area and its very humid but its understandable because of the decorations, the lobby is surrounded by plants that can't be exposed to ac. The room service ( cleaning) was really good, they came thru twice a day until the last 2 days, we went back to our room at 5pm one day and the room was still undone, that happened 2 days in a row. One good thing is that if anything wasn't working like ( the safe, the minnie fridge) they came right away and fixed it. the hotel definitely needs some updating. the food is amazing we ate at a different restaurant ever day and was never disappointed. pool are is very limited as far as seats so go early and save one cause theres no shades and the umbrellas are limited. overall the staff is amazingly courteous and helpful, service i would rate a 10. something i song see right is that you already pay good money for the trip and its supposed to be an all inclusive yet they want to charge you extra for the bungalow or shades and umbrella around the pool are and beach. the entertainment is bad, they don't have a theater or designated area for it, they do it outside and if you don't get there in time you can't see anything.

I KEEP GOING BACK, BECAUSE IT'S WORTH IT!!!

Pros: EVERYTHING!!! Pool, beach front, variety of restaurant and great bang for your money.
Cons: I like to relax in my room in the afternoon to watch some television. They have maybe one English speaking movie channel.
Location: It's right on the main strip so you can take the local bus which is easy and safe and it takes you to the main shopping area. Luxury Avenue is GREAT
This resort offers a variety of pools and restaurants. The beach side is amazing, always clean. The hospitality is amazing. The staff are warm and celebrate your being there. The restaurants, especially Naos is amazing. Wednesday night is Seafood night with an amazing spread of food. They offer a variety of buffet Asian, Mexica, Italian and Seafood spread. The rooms and public areas are always clean. The lobby is Gorgeous with a warm caribbean atmosphere. I've been there about 5 times and it still doesn't disappoint me. they have a children pool area and adult. Everything about this place just radiates peace, relaxation and great food!

Disappointing despite the high review

While the property is top notch, the quality of the service and overall experience is mediocre at best. God forbid if it rains during the trip, best of luck to you with getting a hint of service. From finding a single towel to cleaning a room completely flooded with rain water, there is an obvious lack of comfort and care provided during my vacation. Save yourself the trouble and book at another property.

The best hotel in Cancun.

Pros: I loved how friendly and caring the staff was. I love the design of it and the comfort.
Cons: Better food at the restaurants, probably.
Location: I had an unforgettable experience with sea turtles. The hotel has people working especially for wildlife protection ( in this case sea turtles).
The hotel was so nice in every way that we barely left it for outside activities.

Nice Hotel

Pros: The access to the beach, the pools and the restaurants.
Cons: The reservation process for dinner for most restaurants.
Location: Great location. Shopping near by. Close to some activities.
The hotel staff was very friendly from the moment we arrived until the time we left. They were very accommodating with any request we had.

Great Hotel in the Cancun Area

Pros: Hotel Staff & Blue Agave restaurant
Cons: The dining choices
Location: Cancun city is about 20 minutes north, easy to take bus.
Above average all inclusive hotel. Hotel was clean and the hotel staff was second to none. Need to improve on the "restaurants". Two of the "restaurants" are just tables by the pool with hot food to choose from. I tried all of the restaurants but Tempo which was not included and Fuego and always ended up in the buffet at the end of the night. The mexican restaurants were pretty good, Blue agave & Mole.

Paradise on earth.

Great resort with beautiful views of the water pool and lagoon Great location on the hotel zone. Restaurants were all amazing. Staff was amazing. Extra thanks to alfonzo with melia he made great arrangements for us to play golf at el torino The only negative was the it was very hot in the main areas like restaurants and club and it is a older resort. Coco bar was so relaxing paradise on earth. Ocean view is a must because the balcony is spectacular. I will be back paradisus.

Need to improvement in costumer service

Hotel was good not excellent they need to improve a lot and customer service going to the restaurant you don't have a server or anything ,to waiting for a drink doing your breakfast if it's like more than 10 minutes for lunch the same bartenders some are good some are not they need to improve more, everybody deserve to be treated the same even someone's we pay more than others but you have to be on top of service service is very important for restaurants
