Great staff, not so great hotel.

Pros: Location is good, several pools for adults or children of different ages. Great access to the beach. Staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful.
Cons: Food - offer a few options of actual food that has some nutritional value. The current options of pasta, rice, bread, not great. Fish was undercooked.
Location: Shopping malls nearby - took the bus just a few minutes to great shopping and restaurants. Aquarium, turtle farm, all very close.
The hotel is older and needs repairs. They are remodeling a lot of the hotel, rooms, restaurants, etc. The food was horrible. Each restaurant seemed to serve the same food as the buffet just with some cheese sprinkled on top. Paid for all inclusive and wound up eating out several times during our stay. This hotel seems to be focused on kids which is a good thing but kids need to eat too. If you enjoy hotdogs, and french fries and feed your children that food this might be a good place to stay.

The worst hotel we have ever been. One room was clean another room had bad smell and bathroom was dirty but both rooms were old. There are large fans outside of hotel that you hear even with closed windows, fans are running 24/7 and it is like slipping next to airplane engine. The food was super terrible. We tried to eat in several restaurant and food is not fresh and you do not want to even try it. In morning we made several circles around buffet and good found something you can safely eat, all food do not look fresh and appetizingly, so we ate bread and milk. The food is not safe to eat. Fortunately we were able to check out on the next day and get a refund from expedia. I would definitely not recommend anyone to try this hotel.

Pros: The Location, you can go easily to downtown or other attractions nearby
Cons: The room condition should be in good working order, The hotel should not assign rooms that do not provide the basic comfort level.
Location: The location is great, you can swim with Dolphins at Delphinus and go to the Maya museum just 15min by car, Xcaret is a very good place to go!
We booked a room with ocean view side and it was not ready, then they offered a room with the lake view which is nice but not what I did pay for, so we have to wait until the shift supervisor gave us an ocean view room but without jacuzzi, so they ask us to spend that night only in that room to be relocated the next day if another room was available, and after 2 days we were given our final room, that means we couldn't unpack our luggage due to it had to be ready to move. The room was not to bad and the view was great but we had to deal with a continuous water leak after taking a shower, the air conditioned was not cooling enough and when did rain the rain water got into our room through the sliding doors. the beach is not safe to swim, you have to keep your children holding your hand at all times, the hotel sales team was on top of us every day offering shared time package every time you pass trough the lobby, the 10th floor was under refurbishment and we can ear noise during the day, be aware you have to pay $10 USD per day to have access to Wi-Fi, there is only one ATM and it was not working, in other hand not everything was bad, they got a decent buffet and the people working there was always polite and offering a very good service, the bell boys were always kind, and helpful. My family and myself (2 adults and 2 children) stayed there from the 17th August 2017 until 24th August 2017

Had stayed here before when it was the Great Parnassis, it was great. This time is was not. Very disappointed. Buffet was terrible and no one ever came around to ask us what we wanted to drink. Renovating the top two floors so they put us on the floor just below that so we heard saws and hammering till 7 pm. Very disappointed.

Loved it!!!!!

Pros: Everything from the food to the staff!!!
Cons: The elevator next to our room was to slow and would stop in each floor.
Had a great time, all of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful!!! I would go back there in a heart beat!!!! The food was great, pools were very nice and the rooms are very big.

AC was not working and was very humid

The AC in our room was not working they offered to put a portable air conditioner and it did not work so we spent the entire night on 90° weather. It was awful Everywhere you went to go eat the same problem it was hot and sticky you could not enjoy it

Mediocre hotel, transitioning

Pros: Close to the beach, nice pools.
Cons: Service, professionality.
Location: Beach
Great Parnassus or Seadust didn't meet our expectations. It is in the middle of a transition, from one owner to another. Restaurant's menus are short and poor, kids menu are the same for all the 7 restaurants. The quality of the food is low. Service is mediocre, the only team that deserves good words are the Manhattan restaurant team, especially Edwin. The rest of the workers just smile and try to offer a warm service but is not enough. Swiming pools are ok, but they close them out one day just for maintenance. AC is not working outside the rooms, shared areas and restaurants don't have AC working.

Don't stay there!!!! It's not worth it!!

This was my third time in Cancun, we have always had a great time. Except here! I booked 11 nights 12 days, I was gone the next day! the bathroom were dirty, there were hairs all over the shower, jacuzzi was also dirty. The kids water slides were rusty, I found 2 bandaids floating in the water, I had to take my 4 year old out. Staff was rude. I booked this hotel because of the water park, for my 4 year old to have some fun. It's not worth it. I know it's Cancun and it's always hot, but there was no air conditioning thru out the building only in the rooms and restaurants. My son couldn't handle that much heat! Thank god we found a hotel the next day! spend your money somewhere else!!!

Don't waste your money

We visited July 30- Aug 5. This hotel has an open lobby so everywhere you go is hot and humid. Thank goodness the rooms have A/C. You can't have a nice relaxing meal or walk around the hotel because your dripping in sweat. They try to talk you into a time share disguised as guest services. The pools feels like a jacuzzi, the beach was terrible. I don't know if it was the time we visited but the waves were so hard they knocked me over. I didn't let my kids in the beach unless they were holding tight to my hand. There was so much seaweed. The kids had bunk beds in the family room, this area is too hot to sleep because there is no fan or air vent. I would definitely not return to the Seadust hotel.

Pros: The several restaurants
Cons: Better air conditioner
Location: A little far in walking distance ffom other hotels
The Air conditioner in our room did not work to well, it was somewhat warm. Overall it was a nice hotel next to the beach
