Everything was very good. After reading the reviews I was a little worried but my worries turned into a wonderful week. We enjoyed going to Aqua World for the free non motorized water sports and the Wednesday Cancun Queen boat trip. I don't think many people know about the free stuff.

Nice hotel, beautiful beach, clean and safe.

Pros: Good services, beautiful beach, good foods, beautiful atmosphere, beautiful lighting.
Cons: The property need update.
Love to be in Cancun. We are in Cancun once a year. Pools, beach, great foods, good services.

We get to the room & it looks run down & old. I can deal with old but it was also dirty (dirt rim around the toilet and tub rusty). To make matters worse that first night we found 2 live cockroaches and the next day one small roach, gross!! The next day I had to complain to management as I have an infant who is crawling and starting to walk and didn’t want her to be picking up roaches from the floor . They did upgrade us to a new remodeled room which was super clean and no roaches were found in that room. One of the reasons we booked here was because of the waterpark & children’s free play area. However, to get to kids water park & play area is hideous!! You have to take steep ramps to get there! We had to push a stroller down with an infant & a 4 year old who wanted to rush down!! No elevator to this area!! Definitely not safe when pushing strollers or wheelchairs in wet & steep ramps!!! Saw 2 kids slip on the ramps! To get to the waterpark ship, you have to go through a tunnel that’s not more than 5 feet high!! You can’t take the stroller in as there are stairs after the tunnel!! Definitely not a thought out plan eventhough “kid friendly.” Management could not get me a freezer/refrigerator to store my breastmilk! Have to say that the workers in the regular infinity pool, dinning area & bars were awesome!! The workers Amelio, Sarah, Eliseo, Zaqueo, Felipe, Jonathan were very friendly, helpful & attentive. This place is remodeling but that was no issue!!

Not what I expected - it’s UNDER RENOVATIONS

This hotel has amazing potential but its very old and outdated. The rooms are currently being renovated but in the meantime we had to deal with the noise and roaches. When I complained about all the issues they told me I was lucky my AC was working. But even that was bad because it’s set to 77 degrees. We couldn’t lower it. Smfh. The pools are old and the tiles are coming off. The white walls aren’t white anymore. More yellow. It was an OK experience but definitely not what I expected and that was very disappointing to say the least. Anyways PLEASE pass on this resort until they finish all their renovations. Sometime next year.

Beautiful hotel and awesome staff!

Beautiful hotel and was very close to the beach, activities and shopping. Staff was amazing! They all were super nice and very helpful. Food wasn't awesome but was decent with a lot of options. Kids had a wonderful time. Jose is the Man! Thanks for the wonderful vacation

Great for kids

I just got back feom Cancun after leaving Florida to escape hurricane Irma. This is a good option for families. Pros: great staff. Service is great; people will go the extra mile to make sure you are having a great time. Alejandro, one of the Restaurant managers is the kind of person I would hire to any business: He would do whatever he could to ensure we had a great meal. Kids options: besides main pool and beach, there is a huge kids pool (a Mini water park) with a boat, sliders, etc. The hotel also has a covered playground and kids activities. Food: not a Michelin star rating for sure, but you do have many options. cons: the rooms and hotel overall look are a bit aged. I guess they are remodeling some floors. You will not find the same decorations of a big international chain.

Only close to the beach

Was really bad experience no Internet no AC at the lobby I had to pay $10 dollars a day 2 use the internet only the workers is so nice people The shower was horrible if u need bottle water you have to Paying for it at the hotel room

Great staff, not so great hotel.

Pros: Location is good, several pools for adults or children of different ages. Great access to the beach. Staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful.
Cons: Food - offer a few options of actual food that has some nutritional value. The current options of pasta, rice, bread, not great. Fish was undercooked.
Location: Shopping malls nearby - took the bus just a few minutes to great shopping and restaurants. Aquarium, turtle farm, all very close.
The hotel is older and needs repairs. They are remodeling a lot of the hotel, rooms, restaurants, etc. The food was horrible. Each restaurant seemed to serve the same food as the buffet just with some cheese sprinkled on top. Paid for all inclusive and wound up eating out several times during our stay. This hotel seems to be focused on kids which is a good thing but kids need to eat too. If you enjoy hotdogs, and french fries and feed your children that food this might be a good place to stay.

The worst hotel we have ever been. One room was clean another room had bad smell and bathroom was dirty but both rooms were old. There are large fans outside of hotel that you hear even with closed windows, fans are running 24/7 and it is like slipping next to airplane engine. The food was super terrible. We tried to eat in several restaurant and food is not fresh and you do not want to even try it. In morning we made several circles around buffet and good found something you can safely eat, all food do not look fresh and appetizingly, so we ate bread and milk. The food is not safe to eat. Fortunately we were able to check out on the next day and get a refund from expedia. I would definitely not recommend anyone to try this hotel.
