Best Hotel in Cancun

Was at Secrets with 7 family members from ages 21-74. We had an awesome time. Hotel, restaurants and entertainment was great. Everyone starting from the front door to housekeeping could not have been nicer. Can't wait to go back next year!

We decided that it was like being on a cruise without leaving port. Everything organized as much as you want it to be. In saying this our stY was wonderful and staff could not do enough for you.

Great experience at this resort.

Staff are very friendly, great good and fast service in every restaurants we dined in. Spa is definitely a top of the line facility and service is just awesome. Very nice ocean view of the gym. Rooms are roomy and very comfy. Room service are just fast as if your inside the restaurant and great presentations, I am very with the service I received from all their staff. I highly recommend this resorts.

Pretty room decor, yet awkward hotel layout.

Though rooms were great, the layout of the hotel was awkward. No infinity pool and pools looked extremely dirty. We had booked an "ocean view" hotel and even paid extra per night for this "upgrade." Our flight arrived at 7 A.M., and the hotel staff checked us in our room at 3:30 PM. Pretty vexing to not have a room to check into, but we managed by going to the pool. Once we checked in our room, the ocean view was to the far left corner side, and we were placed near the Bay. Though there was an ocean view to the side of our balcony, it's disappointing they make guest pay for the ocean view upgrade and only have them stay in a room towards the Bay. In regards to the dining - the breakfast buffet were mediocre. The varied exotic fruit options were the only exciting breakfast options honestly. The evening restaurants were nice at night, the quality of the selections was decent. The staff was friendly. To sum up my experience, I'm definitely not sold on how this resort is a 5 star hotel. Don't bother booking a "ocean view" room, most rooms have the view to the side of the balcony. They make it appear as if the hotel is faboluous, but it's not...

Pleasant Get-Away

Pros: All inclusive. Pools, Bars and restaurants.
Cons: Evening entertainment; More of it and higher quality.
Location: Dolphinaris and Ventura park waterpark very good. Great dolphin experience. Many mayan ruins to choose form.
Excellent resort with very good atmosphere, food, pools and beach. Disappointed in evening entertainment options.

Cons: engagement- training for staff
Location: Your question is not clear to me regarding review of hotel service
I was staying in this hotel before and was so satisfied. In this trip I noticed significant differences than my other visits: 1) Food (specially beef) was not good; 2) I broke my toe in the sea (high wave), life guard did not provide any help; 3) Hotel staff said, our doctor can provide you his opinion for $144 (about my toe); 4) Hotel did not offer any help for my broken toe; 5) No access for people to different part of hotel for handicapped people with wheel chair - in occasion I noticed staff were picking up a woman with wheel chair to go up 2 steps and sit in shade)' 6) I requested 15 minutes late check out (at 12:15 pm instead of 12:00)- my request was denied strongly (even they knew I have been there so many times); 7) Around pool area was dirty most of the time (staff would not pick up the reaming food around and birds were helping themselves - which can spread disease around easily- staff were so busy to supply more drinks around and get more tips). 8. There was possibility of a big storm - MANAGEMENT DID NOT COMMUNICATE WITH GUESTS ON THIS REGARDS AT ALL. I could say, I was not satisfied with my stay in 1 said 5 stars hotel- I give them only 3 out of 5.

Awesome vacation!

My husband and I went for his 21st birthday and we had an amazing time! They try to upsell you right when you check in but other then that everything was free and we weren't pestered about anything else. View and room were absolutely stunning! It's the newest hotel on the strip and everything was in tip top condition! Never saw the staff not smiling.

Beautiful modern hotel right on the beach

The staff was very friendly, our room was clean, spacious and modern. We enjoyed the a la carte dinner restaurants and didn't have to wait long for a table. The 3 pools were warm and inviting and the gym is amazing. The spa is overpriced, but that's what you expect. The only downside was that room service was generally pretty slow, but considering it is available 24 hours, it's still a good perk to have.

Great place but be careful of food

girlfriend got sick with another girl. she was sick, throwing up for 2 days of the 4 days. bed ridden. hotel paid for doctor to get her better.
