The ocean view compensates for the lack of luxury offered by this hotel. If your looking for a fairly priced, quiet, far from the buzzle of touristy accommodations, this should be worth every hard-earned penny. No free breakfast but there is free flowing coffee all day long. Spare one late afternoon in your patio for the sunset, it's just gorgeous; do not ever miss it. Our stay was fine, no complaints but I noticed there was an ironing board but no iron, you have to ask for it from the front desk. I have 2 remote controls for the tv. One doesn't work and one has tape for the back. Witch doesn't work unless I hold the remote upside-down and press on the keys. The deadbolt lock doesn't work even after maintenance coming up to half ass fix it lastnight!! It still doesn't work; and when you are traveling alone you want to feel safe! I tried to call front desk tonight to get a replacement remote so I could enjoy the tv on my LAST night here and no one answered!!The coffee maker doesn't work. The water just sits and doesn't drain. Thank goodness I know to run water thru before using it. There is a bug floating in the water; the water that would not drain. A whole pot!! The beds are hard as a rock!! Front desk lady is very friendly and good at her job. Parking is awful. I think workers park where guests are supposed to park tho.Great view and outside seems to be clean. BULL CRAP THAT YOU CAN'T FLIP THRU THE CHANNELS ON THE TV WITHOUT 2 HANDS , BECAUSE THE REMOTE HAS NO BACK!! JUST CRAPPY TAPE THAT DOESN'T HOLD!! The highlight of our trip was the beautiful sea view, which truly made the stay worthwhile. The only downside was the check-in and check-out times. Check-in at 4:00 PM feels too late, and check-out at 10:00 AM is a bit too early, especially for guests who want to enjoy the beach. Because of this, I would recommend booking at least two nights to make the most of your visit.
