So close to downtown Port Isabel and South Padre Island. Check in was easy along with checking out. There was plenty of space inside and out. The deck looking out over the bay was a nice relaxing spot. The house had everything a person could need. The beach towels and bathroom care packages were nice extras. Amanda was great to deal with. I'd recommend this rental to anyone. Exceptionally clean with all that you need was provided! Coffee every morning in the back yard or upper bedroom deck was sublime. Enjoyed watching the cranes, ducks, pelicans, seagulls and more start their morning routines; ending our evenings with eats from a local seafood spot, watching all that nature has to offer - supplying us an inner peace. On our last day of our stay, during evening hours we had the privilege to watch the dolphins swim north. This trip was heavy for our family, but this property made it peaceful for us. Thank you so much to the Property Owner for the open line of communication and sharing such a haven for us! We combined the event into our family vacation. The location was convenient to drive to Brownsville but also a short drive to the beach and all the essentials (groceries, shopping, etc.). The gated community was beautiful and the house itself was in fantastic condition. Our only complaint could be the mosquitos but obviously can’t hold that against the owners, property management, or the location. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds have been very comfortable. We enjoyed also sitting at the porch with a great view. The pool and the hot tub has been a nice add on.All in all a great experience. The only thing I would recommend to add some outdoor seating cushoins. It was incredibly clean, warm and inviting. The location was great as well. We would definitely stay here again. The only constructive feedback I would provide would be that we were left only 1 trash bag, the trash can was full from construction debris left from the balcony repair and left us no room in the bin, and no sponge was left to wash dishes. These are super minor things. Quiet and relaxing. The fishing is not great because the water is shallow and that was one of the main reasons for me staying there with my handicap son . I would also like to have been able to have my mom spend the night she is 81 and we came down for her birthday she lives there in Port Isabel but she couldn’t because of HOA rules and she could not have walked up the stairs I did not know it was two-story. Also would like to of had cushions for the chairs in the back yard patio.
