Very musty smell in room as though hadn't been aired for weeks. Facilities all worked, although decor a bit tired. Needs some patching up and fresh coat of paint. Didn't seem like carpets had been cleaned very well-bare feet picked up dirt/fluff which was obvious when washing feet in shower (took aged for hot water to come through, up to 5 minutes before it got warm)

We've stayed at the Rodeway every year over Labor Day weekend for 6 years now. It is a great place to stay. I just wish that they would FIX the TV service. Only a few channels come in clearly - the rest are terrible. It is "Direct TV" same as Quality Inn in Bangor where all channels work great.

Overnght to catch a plane to Halifax

Pros: It was convenient and cost is reasonable.
Cons: There should be food available at night.
All we wanted was a place to stay overnight before a flight to halifax and this motel fit the bill.

Overall, we do not recommend this place unless you don't have other choices. We picked this inn because it was pet-friendly (they do charge $15/dog). The representative in the front desk was really nice and friendly. They also provided simple breakfast and free wifi. But the room condition was really unpleasant and very humid. We even found a dead cockroach under one of the mattresses, so we decided to sleep on another bed. But the lining of this "cleaner" bed was two feet narrower than the blanket, so we have to lie still for the whole night trying to avoid touching the unprotected part of the blanket which might be used by numerous of people.
