My stay was quite nice at the Super 8 in Houghton. Clean, quiet. Older building, but recently updated. Daily housekeeping, which is almost unheard of anymore. Breakfast was okay, but that could be a preference. Plenty of local options, too. Would stay again.

The property and stay was great. After the stay the hotel charged my credit card over $400 that should not have. I contacted the hotel they told me that they did charge the card and did email that is says zero on their records.

Checked in, went to room. No lights in room. Everything had been unplugged as I did my research before calling front desk. Then go to take a shower only to find hair on the wall and on the drain.

No elevator 😕
We loved the view from our room. The pool,hot tub and sauna was great 👍. Great breakfast choices better than most. Especially with Jimmy Dean sandwiches. The only downside about our stay was no elevator when we were on the second floor. We both have back problems so walking the stairs was a bummer 😕.

Property and rooms were nice, they didn't have my reservation listed when I checked in, come to find out they gave it to a person with a similar last name, so I got a lakeside room with a beautiful view as a compensation. The hotel was quiet, and had a nice sitting area decorated beautifully for Christmas. Close to downtown and a great place to stay.

This was a very nice motel. It is a bit older but was clean and the staff was nice. It had a within walking distance to Mi Tech and the riverfront trail goes right in front of the motel. It was nice that breakfast opens at 530 for early risers. There was a pool and hot tub onsite but we did not use it.

Beautiful setting on the water with views across the water of the trees in full color. Staff were all pleasant and friendly and the entry area was so inviting with fall decorations and comfortable sofas and chairs along with a tv. Spotlessly clean. Most inviting motel we’ve stayed in in a long time!

Beautiful location beside the water with excellent walking trails. We have stayed here several times. Great staff, clean and safe. Breakfast highlight is ready-to-eat Breakfast-muffins (w/egg and sausage inside). Great value-for-money.
