Lakefront cabin with kitchen and patio
This beautiful home located in Houghton Lake Michigan can be enjoyed year round. With hitting the beach for a swim, exploring the canals on a kayak or stand up paddle board, summer boat rides (on our INCLUDED newer 2021 pontoon boat), s’mores around the camp fire, or playing cornhole/ladderball during the warmer months to making memories snowmobiling on the trails, sledding hills, or cross country skiing in the winter months. This waterfront home that has everything pure Michigan has to offer 12 months out of the year! We have fun games for all to play in our extra large garage/hang out area with air hockey table, foosball table (Large & small), Ping Pong, or some old fashion darts or card games (poker chips included). One of our best features is our like new 2021 Sweetwater 2286 SBX pontoon boat that comes included with the rental (must have valid drivers license & be 29+ years old to operate). We are located on a very nice semi-secluded dead end canal just a short boat ride away from the main lake. Its nice to not have to deal with the heavy winds like the lake side homes do but still have the benefit of watching the sunset as we are just north of the east bay. We have plenty of room to sleep up to 10-12 people, or ask us about having extra guests (fees included). We do not allow pets.
Air-conditioned accommodations at this cabin offer fireplaces and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to patios. Accommodations are furnished with sofa beds and dining tables. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations and hair dryers.

Gorgeous Gathering Place
Houghton Cove is a beautiful home with ample room for larger families/groups. The patios and outdoor spaces are gorgeous and overlook the cove. The owners provide access to multiple kayaks, canoes, a paddle boat, and a paddle board, in addition to the Pontoon boat featured in the listing. The garage holds a ping pong table and air hockey table, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed! The property was extremely clean and communication with Joe was excellent! We would absolutely stay here again!

Family get together
We rented this beautiful home for our family get together! We have 3 adult children and 4 grandkids. A total of 11 stayed very comfortable in this well stocked home! Great activities provided for children and adults as well! Having the pontoon boat outside the back door is fantastic! We also enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle boards and canoes! Loved getting out on the water! Great neighbors across the channel too! Just wish we could have stayed longer!! If you are looking for a great place with lots of outdoor activities and indoor if it rains, this is the place to go! Owner is in contact with you and easy to get ahold of and answer any questions you may have!

Great house with a pontoon!
My family and I had a great stay at Houghton's Cove! The house is spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It was so convenient to have the pontoon right there, we were able to go boating at our leisure. And the variety of games plus the firepit called for nice evenings together after boating. Such a great house and great location!

Amazing house w/ Pontoon
We had an amazing time here! We had all ages including small children, teens and adults and there was plenty to keep us busy for 4th of July. We didn’t feel crowded and the extra space in the sunrooms was perfect. The pontoon was a blast as well as the kayaks, canoes and paddle boards made for a fun trip down the canal to Houghton Lake. Thank you so much for hosting this awesome home!

Roscommon Golf Trip
We rented the house for a golf weekend at Forrest Dunes. The house was about 30 minutes from Forest Dune and 15 minutes away from restaurants and groceries. The house is on a private channel and has boat access. The home was ready to go when we got there, and the owners let me check in a little early. Everything was perfect. I will rent the house again if I'm ever in the area.

Great stay at Houghton’s Cove on canal at Houghton Lake. Spacious home, well equipped, and lots of great seating areas. Kids and adults enjoyed the game room. I enjoyed large kitchen. Want to return in the summer to enjoy water toys. Great communications with owner. Highly recommend.
