Have stayed several times. Clean room. Limited and simple breakfast. Friendly staff. Only thing that made me pause was the Altar near the front desk where food and drink were left as an offering. I found this really strange especially as there was a sign saying “do not take food from the altar” I’m not sure if Wingate now has altars in their hotels near the front desk

The friendly and helpful staff was such a pleasant surprise - they all went above and beyond the type of service I’m used to from hotels all over the country. The room was comfortable, large, and clean.

Only issue was a room above us had a lot of noise while we were trying to sleep. It was probably Mardi Gras traditional.

We had an overall good stay. Had issues with keys and had to have them reset every other time we needed to use them. The noise level from other guests were a little loud late at night, children running and jumping in rooms. Other than that staff was awesome, breakfast and rooms great!

The hot water in the shower was not very hot at all. I have never experienced a hot water problem in any motel or hotel in my life!

STAYED THERE FOR 8 DAYS. IN 1ST ROOM THE TV DID NOT WORK. MOVED TO 2ND ROOM. THE OWNER NEEDS TO UPDATE -THE BATHTUB WAS CHIPPED AND RUSTED AND HAD SOME KIND OF WHITE FILL IN SUBSTANCE. NO ON SITE WASHER/DRYER. ALSO A LIZARD WAS IN THE BATHROOM!!!! POSITIVE SIDE - FROMT DESK STAFF TIKA, MONIQUE AND KAM WERE VERY ACCOMODATING AND WELCOMING. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD CHOICES.

The two receptionist we met Saturday were amazing, I didn’t catch the ladies name but Thomas came in after her, and the both of them were the sweetest!! Only con was wish the water got a little hotter in the shower. But other than that the entire stay was WONDERFUL
