Long wait for shuttle from airport to hotel, they use a service used by other hotels so wait was a bit long

Odor

The hotel has an odor. It is not that clean. I think that it needs to be renovated. Everything smells of smoke.

Cons: customer service and when night manager leaves for the evening remove his name plate

BEWARE-POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - We arrived (a party of four) in Houston by air at 7:20 pm and proceeded to the shuttle area and located a Baymont shuttle. We asked the driver to confirm that he would deliver us to the hotel which he did so we got on the bus and he proceeded to drive us to the Baymont. Upon arriving, we are told that we took the wrong shuttle and were at the wrong Baymont. We then found out that the shuttle could not deliver us to the right hotel nor upon a telephone call to the correct hotel were they able to send a shuttle for us. The best that could be done was to be driven back to the airport and start over. Back to the airport we go and wait for the apparently correct shuttle and when he arrives loads our luggage and then realizes he has no room for us. Driver unloads our luggage and calls for another shuttle and finally arrive at hotel at 9:40 pm. According to Baymont, it was us, the patrons who made the mistake by getting on the bus that said 'Baymont' and under no circumstances would they go "outside the box" to accomodate us.

Quick night between flights

Very quick staff service. I was only there for a brief night between flights. Nice shuttle service.
