Room confusion.....Posted Jun 21, 2015 on Hotels
I booked 2 two double bed rooms. So we checked in and got our key only to find one double bec in each room. When we went back down to the front desk to let them know they blamed it on Hotels.com and preceded to tell me that's what you get when you book with third parties! They did accommodate us with the correct size rooms. Front desk staff could have definitely been more polite and at least acted like they wanted to help us! No worries though, I know where I WON'T be staying before I leave out on a cruise!

First time, but will not be my last.Posted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
I got to the hotel at 2:30pm and was told I couldn't check in until 3pm, but the front desk did take my number in case I could get in earlier. I just drove around a bit to see what was nearby. When I came back, the front desk was very friendly and explained all the amenities, as this was my first time at a Candlewood Suites. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. I loved the stocked kitchen and the free laundry. I am looking for Candlewood Suites first anytime I travel somewhere new now.

no privacyPosted Apr 26, 2015
No breakfast. The room walls are paper thin. You can hear everything that goes on in the halls.
