A great little place

I enjoyed my time here. The Staff was Great, the lobby is beautiful, and my room was comfortable.

Comfortable and friendly

Location: the location was safe and very close to the interstate and plenty of food and shopping.
We drove in for a memorial and the staff was very accommodating, offering to upgrade our room at no extra charge for all 4 nights we were there. Breakfasts were filling and everyone was very nice. The pool was clean and open until midnight even in Nov which was nice.

Has room for improvement...

The room had a constant wet smell, and we were concerned about mold. The rooms were cramped. The bathroom was so small, you almost had to stand in the Toilet to get out. The breakfast was not good. They only had eggs and dried out sausage or eggs and soggy ham. The juices were watered down. I only ate the yogurt. The staff were very friendly and prompt to our needs. However, for most of our stay, the housekeeping staff would come and knock on our door at 9am. Too early for people to come and fix the sheets/towels/room. We saw chipped paint and old wet spots under the paint in the room. If I had known this hotel would have so many issues, I wouldn't have paid to stay so long.

Was a 1 night stay for business. Bed was very comfortable and the best nights sleep I have had. Breakfast that was included in the rate was good and had a nice variety.

Just what we needed!

On a visit to cheer for our daughter in her first triathlon, we found the hotel near the event site, and were very pleased with everything, especially the helpful staff. Do stay!

Courteous staff

Pros: I had some trouble with the sheets and the staff was very nice in solving my problem. Management paid attention to follow up afterwards.
Nice hotel for shopping nearby. Hotel staff is courteous.

Staff were excellent !!!!

Pros: Staff, comfortable bed ,close to all our needs
Cons: later check out times
Location: excellent location to outlets, great restaurants, freeways
We live in California & needed a hotel close to Prairie View College (25 minutes away) ,The check in clerk surprisingly attended the college as well ..He was very professional and gave us directions,food suggestions and reassured our daughter about the whole college experience. Angela the night clerk assisted with signing up for Holiday Inn Rewards Card. We will definitely book this hotel each time we come to visit our daughter in College

Hotel facilities were adequate.

We were extremely irritated to be charged twice by this hotel. Expedia had already collected the amount for our stay up front. We were then also billed by the hotel staff. Poor customer service.

Staff from top to bottom is awesome. No matter what shift was working they were always top notch, friendly and helpful. Great stay!!!!

Cypress Holiday Inn Express.

The desk attendant when we checked in around 5pm was not at all polite. The room I received for 200 dollars the Air conditioner didn't work. When I informed this employee of the room situation he asked what do you want me to do about it. After telling him that I'm staying that room he then finally assigned us another room. The evening staff was not at all very customer service oriented. I would never stay their again.
