Close to NRG, but that's the only good comment

The registration staff put us in the wrong room. I had reserved a king, but got two double beds. The sink backed up, the door to the dresser was broken and the AC did not work-in 100 degree Houston heat. I went back to registration and was told that all of the king rooms were taken. I complained and the manager "found" one. Once in the new room, that air conditioner didn't work either. We thought it might cool off, so we went to our event. When we returned to our room after midnight, it was still hot as Hades. We called the desk THREE times to have someone fix it. No one ever came. I called Hotels.com the next morning and after some negotiating, received a 50% refund from the hotel and a credit voucher from Hotels.com.
Hotels.com was the best thing about this stay. I will never return to Crowne Plaza Hotel.
