Quality Stay at a Reasonable Price

Overall, our hotel stay was very good. The first room we got smelled like smoke, but the second room was clean and odorless. The flaws were all the construction projects going on in the neighborhood, the small hotel parking lot, and the fact that a member of the hotel staff attempted to stop us from eating breakfast in our room. Flaws aside, this hotel was a true bargain!

Not so center of town

We came in from out of state and was told we are 10 minutes from downtown Houston. It could possibly be true, if Houston isn't always jammed packed with traffic. It was an hour to get to downtown. Now about the hotel. Two ice machines neither worked. It was 100+ outside and no ice machine. The laundry room was actually in a pass way outside in front of a room. The pool is a pool. Chairs, tables, and as long as you're a guest you can hang out there all night long....which tended to be loud a few nights. The room: the bed was comfy, the sheets were clean, and there were soft comfy pillows. The air in the room worked awesome, as it was 100+ outside. The bathrooms are small, but the sink is outside the shower area. Mini fridge, microwave, small closet, and a dresser that reminded me of a yard sale find. After talking to a few guests in passing, I've come to understand that the hotel is mostly used for out of town contractors who work local construction and go home over the weekend. Would we stay here again, most likely not. But for the price it really can't be beat.

No air

It was soooooo hot in the room ,they should have the air running at all times especially at 100°whether. We arrived at 7PM.it took the room dang near the whole 2 days to kool it was uncomfortable.

You get what you pay for.....

The room had water damaged. The window and door wasn't properly sealed. We had 4 people in our room they only will give us 2 washcloths and 2 towels. When I went to initially get the room the desk clerk was rude. Breakfast wasn't not up to par they never check to see if if everything was supplied. Out of the 5 nights we were there we never had housekeeping. The chair in our room was very worn.

stinky hotel

Bathroom needs updating. Toilet need replacement, the room smelled and the wall light shades needed replacement as well.

Staff was great but rooms smelled horrible. Also, they were out of almost everything for breakfast.

I was in town for business and arrived via a late flight. The person at the front desk was accommodating to my late check in and gave me advice on where to grab a late meal. Fortunately there are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so I appreciated their help. The room was clean, the parking lot was safe, and overall it was a good hotel experience.
