The museum was founded in 1948 and presented art in locations all over the city. In 1972, CAMH moved into this beautiful facility designed by Gunnar Birkerts. Just what it says. It's a monument to the city's namesake, Sam Houston. Another beautiful day in Houston. I felt smart just being there Random structure in the museum district. Ribbon Ice has its origins in Taiwan and is popular all across Asia. This dessert is hand-crafted by combining a mixture of milk, sugar, and fruit. It is served finely shaved through our unique shavers, which gives it an appearance of thinly layered ribbons of snow. They then add toppings like fresh fruit, syrups, and other decadent condiments. Their Ribbon Ice is made with natural flavors and contain fewer calories than ice cream. We had Salty Caramel ribbon Ice cream with caramel sauce with brownie bits and Heath bars! YUM !!!!
