A Convenient but Thrifty Hotel
Posted Jan 19, 2017 on Hotels
I got to the hotel late at night. The power in my area had gone out and I needed an inexpensive place with power to spend the period until the power came back on. The entrance was hard to find as there was a sign at the entrance that showed "Quality Inn." I kept passing it while looking for a sign that said "Frontier Inn." The hotel must have been recently acquired. On check-in, I found a dirty towel on a rack in the closet and some spoilt food in the refrigerator freezer. Also, the room and property could use a renovation. A large section of the carpet in the room was poorly held to the floor with what looked like packing tape. On my first day there, some of my food items in the refrigerator were taken. The morning breakfast meal offering was cold (both days that I spent there) due to the food chafer burner flame not having been lit or probably having gone out. It just showed that the food was not being attended to. The breakfast really appeared to be leftovers from the previous day.
