This hotel was close to Bellaire where all the Asian restaurants were at. We felt safe with security and was not noisy at all. They upgraded me to a larger room for my birthday and it was so spacious and clean. The bed and blanket was so comfortable. We will definitely be back every time we come to Houston.

We have a private member club on the bottom floor that hosts poker games. Bed frame fell apart when just sitting on the bed. Mattress had a HUGE stain on it. Room looks amazing if you don’t look too closely at it. No parking for hotel guests in front of hotel. Gamblers get better treatment than actual guests

Decent Stay
The hotel is decently quiet… room was very clean and receptionist were friendly. Only thing weird is that you can only enter & exit through the front because of the gambling… inconvenient.

My New Go-To Staycation place
Wonderful stay, staff was very accommodating. Bar was very nice and well stocked. Lobby was clean the poker tournaments were fire! The pillows in the room made the stay amazing.

I loved this hotel. I think I was drawn to it because the decor is black. My favorite color. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The water in the shower was hot. It’s hard to find hotels that have true hot hot water. There is a section for poker players, but there is a bar and dining space. Close to a lot of things in the area. I enjoyed. Would stay again

This is not a hotel for staying unless you are attending the poker club. Strange, Smokey, first room was destroyed, luggage was search coming in each time. Very very odd place to stay. Wouldn’t stay again.

The front door needs to be automatic. It was so uncomfortable juggling it with luggage. The complimentary breakfast only got the poker players was upsetting. The staff has great customer service to include the security. And the room and parking were great.

Very nice and respectful staff, they try their very best to accommodate but the property itself is old, dirty and needs serious work, not the cheap renovation that has already been done to it. The room and bathroom we’re both dirty upon check in. The bathroom had bugs and random peoples’ hairs in the shower wall. The bedrooms carpet was sticky and had an odd stench upon entering. The bed sheets and pillows were also stinky. I had them replaced later which helped a little but the pillows have no form/body and need to all be replaced. Please keep in mind this “hotel” doesn’t have cribs and while we were there there was no room service, no pool or hot tub access. There was also a sign posted in the elevator “in case it breakdowns”. Coming here with our baby we felt VERY uncomfortable to the point where we had to checkout early. We were charged for the first 2 nights we stayed but refunded the rest of the week we were supposed to stay till.

I did have some issues with the cleanliness and condition of the room but Liz and Monica went above and beyond to try and get me situated. Aside from that situation, I must say that the hotel staff are all so very lovely and friendly. Even security were very friendly and made me feel safe to have them around; both inside and outside the hotel.

Excellent hotel. Customer service is beyond reproach. Classy, elegant, and reasonable. I'm not a bot. No joke, this place is legit. Only problem's are.. No entrances other than the lobby, and no laundry facilities.

For a 4 star property, I was surprised that they had no room service option at all. We just arrived in Houston after driving from Colorado and didn't want to leave the room. We were exhausted and looked awful. Otherwise, it was a beautiful room and everyone was so kind.
