Very noisy. There is a club next to the hotel pass the parking lot. Loud music started 11PM and continued till 4AM. Heavy subwoofer sound. I was wondered at early evening why there is a flyer in the hotel. It says they provide complimentary ear plugs.

Staffs at check in gave wrong advice, she told me only hold $50 but she auth full fees $550 while took cash for the same anount. She told me it would release soon but took 5 days. It resulted I was short of money in Houston. No one was helpful they told me it has to work as it. Staffs at check out was very impatient while I was asking for auth $550 release.

I stayed in Houston for a concert at Minute Maid Park. The walk to and from the venue was pleasant. I asked if it was safe to walk and the hotel front desk staff said yes but gave me a business card to catch a ride if I felt unsafe. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was good. The parking was free and it was an easy on/off the freeways. My only complaint is that the air conditioner was very loud. I couldn’t hear the TV at times even when turned a bit over listening volume. I eventually settled into the noise to sleep but I was exhausted. I didn’t report the air conditioner because I didn’t want to deal with a repair person or have to change rooms during my trip. The bathrooms did not have a fan but luckily there were restrooms by the elevator 😂

The property was fine, but it could use an update. The paint was bubbling up from humidity, holes in the room, and a musty mold smell in my room. The staff was awesome the food was fresh and continuously restocked during breakfast. All the front desk people weee friendly and efficient.
