The front desk staff were excellent and friendly. That was the only positive. We experienced delays and cancellation with overnight flights, and needed these rooms at the last minute at 3 AM due to exhaustion. The rooms had a terrible odor, I couldn’t tell if it was chemical or mold, but it was overpowering and gave us a headache. The restaurant staff for breakfast were extremely rude. My group had two rooms and two vouchers for breakfast each for two people, but she was argumentative about us wanting three meals, although we were entitled to four. My 13-year-old daughter was wearing socks to the breakfast buffet, and the waitress waited until after we had our plates and sat down to eat. She came over and insisted my daughter could not finish her meal unless she went back to the room and put shoes on. my daughter went all the way to the fourth floor, but our other guest had locked the security lock so she couldn’t get in to get her shoes. She came back, and I insisted that the waitress allow her to eat her food and we would leave right after. The waitress demanded our room number because her “manager” needs to know. I refused to give it to her, it wasn’t necessary. She kept asking and I finally told her if the manager needs our room numbers, he/she can come ask for them. We ate quickly and left.
