Unfortunately when I check in there was a huge line due to cancel flights. Waited 45 minutes to check in so much for spur of moment.

Spent n hour at the airport waiting for the hotel shuttle. tried calling the hotel several times there was no answer. Finally took an Uber to the hotel and was told that the phones were down Just as the desk clerk hung up the phone after giving someone directions. Elevator was broken Room was dirty there were toenail clippings on the floor mirror and table were smeared tub was dirty and the coffee maker did not work There was hair on the bed as well as in the bathtub Was awoken the next day with someone intensely knocking on the door and trying to open it. the housekeepers here do not announce themselves. and tend to barge in. Food in the restaurant was mediocre as is the ambience the hostess in the morning has no time to seat guests You have to seat your self even though the restaurant had 3 people in it Over all The property lack the hospitality spirit and does not compare to some of the other hotels around

A one-stop hotel near the airport

This is my second visit this year for a visit to Houston. It may have once been quite the hotel but she is showing some age and in need of retooling and renovations. I called it a one-stop in that if you don't know the area and don't have time it has a place to eat, drink (bar), swim (pool), and a awfully nice bed to slide your head on not two but four pillows. A few cons: the first time one elevator was not working, second visit the other elevator was out; bathrooms are cramped and have no ventilating fans; this may have been the particular location on the second floor - there was a sound of a motor winding up to start, goes on for a minute or two before winding down coming from the floor above ours.

Old and smelly

Front desk employees and shuttle driver were friendly and nice, but the rooms were old and the building smelled moldy.

Nothing around too secluded.

Secluded area away from anything. Nice hotel great visit just nothing around to do. Hotel bar closed at 11 after that with no car not from the state, what do you do.

It seems that just about every ice machine on every floor is inoperative it was hard to find ice had to go to the restaurant to get ice.

Hotel was not what is say on the internet !!!

The hotel was totally different form on the internet !!! Toilet was loud when flush and was not what we expected for a Holiday Inn !!!
