Convenient, comfortable, quiet place to stay

Pros: Location, quiet, good breakfast, comfortable rooms (suite with kitchen)
Cons: Renovation in progress as public areas and rooms need refreshing.
Location: Close to all major West side areas.
The setting of the hotel is very nice even though close to Sam Houston Tollway, it is about 2 blooks away so the highway is not noticeable. Close to a major road, Wertheimer, but again very quiet. Hotel is well run by good staff. It is currently beginning a renovation process because the hotel is beginning to need updating. Upkeep is good with older rugs and furnishings. In two years, the hotel will be brand new and really a great place to stay.

Home away from home

We were there because my dad was in the hospital so it was a nice haven after a long day at the hospital. All is fine but was stressful and nice to have a little home to return to and not have to worry about coffee, breakfast, printing boarding passes, etc.

Disappointed

The hotel was not worth what we paid for it. The swimming pool was nasty. It had trash in it and lots of hair. The breakfast was awful. We put in we were looking for a hotel near Sugarland, Tx and we were over 30 miles from there. My daughters blanket felt like rubber foam. It was not good.

The best hotel we've had in a while.

The staff was excellent. They went out of their way to be helpful. They were very friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. And hooray for the cookies!

Good location near Westheimer with good restaurants and shopping close by. Easy to find, and very simple access to main roads (via Sam Houston tollway). Spacious parking lot was never full during our stay. Large rooms with kitchen facilities. Breakfast (good selection for US hotel...) and dinner available. Acceptable internet connection with good Wi-Fi coverage. Helpful staff. Would stay there again!
