It is s great location.

Great location! Nice room. Bar was good but restaurant is not really a restaurant. It's an extension of the bar. Slow check in. No one but a maintenance man at the front desk for 10 minutes. Room was very nice and newly updated.

Extremely noisy

Pros: Location
This hotel plays a movie at their pool at night until 10pm. I was on the ninth floor and the sound blasted into my room as if it was being played next door. It is absolutely ridiculous that I was able to hear this movie so clearly. This hotel should stop trying to be trendy, or whatever the intention is, and focus on being comfortable. The second night I was there, someone was smoking marijuana and the smoke filled the entire floor. It was not until the smoke alarm began going off incessantly that the hotel actually thought to investigate. Parking is outrageous - $25 for self parking. And, the hotel adds a $14 'resort fee' every day.

Hey Jetsetter – thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts with us from your most recent stay. We do love to show Old-Western movies nightly on our movie wall outside the pool area, but I apologize that it seems to disturb rather than to relax, which was our intent. We also have a zero tolerance smoking policy for all of our guests, so when we found out someone was possibly breaking this policy our security team sprang into action. It seems that we got off on the wrong foot and I would love the opportunity at a second chance to show you that we are not only the cool, hip property that Houston knows and love, but that we can provide that Southern comfort and charm you’re looking for. Please let me know the next time your travels bring you to Houston, and I will be sure to arrange a very VIP return.

Check in took way too long.

They should of been prepared for the amount of reservations they had. The check in took way too long.

Poor Customer services

The guest service people were rude and unprofessional. The valet guys were GREAT!

Fun atmosphere, restaurant needs some help

Pros: LIke the decor. Rooms were clean and nice sheets.
Cons: Hire more staff and train them on hospitality, service.
Fun atmosphere with cowboy theme, western movies paying poolside nice touch, bar was comfortable and relaxing. Crab cake appetizer was amazing. The restaurant needs more staff and qualified people. I was there for a conference, although not a huge one that would have overwhelmed the restaurant at breakfast. However, if you know you numbers will be up, then schedule more staff. Service was slow and frustrating when you are just waiting for cream for coffee or silverware. First morning I did not order the buffet cause I wanted something light. The yogurt and granola took forever after my reminder.

Hotel needs renovation.

Cons: Needs renovation of all furnishings.
Location: OK
The rooms were old and the draperies were uneven and 2' shorter than the window and lights were coming in. Could be a great hotel if the furnishings are refreshed.

Nice close to galleria area

Not worth money spent thus weekend. Reservations for a loft the provided a balcony King bed stating nothing else was available.

I am sorry that this wasn’t better explained to you. Overpriced-watch out for hidden fees

I was worried because of all the negative reviews. Front desk was courteous and efficient. The room was relatively clean and I didn't run into any major issues. However there was a red stain on the toilet lid that was really off putting. The expedia price was quoted around 150/night but when I checked out my total was over 230 dollars.
