Close to everything.

I wish I would of listened to other reviews about cleanliness before booking. I thought 3 stars; how bad could it be. We'll I was wrong. I felt very uncomfortable the 4 days we stayed it and kept debating to myself should we move next door to the Hampton Inn. Lesson learn only book hotels 4 stars or better for now on.

Terrible experience

Most of the lights in our room didn't work and there was no remote for the tv,I accidentally left my tablet plugged in behind the tv,I called later in the day to get someone to go a retrieve it so I could pick it up but I called 5 times and kept getting the run around and when someone did finally go look 24 hrs later either the staff or a guest stole it,so I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Regarding the lights, several of them are controlled by the switch at the front door. If that switch is flipped off then those lights will not work. I am sorry that we did not respond on a more timely basis about your missing tablet. Unfortunately it was not found. I have reviewed this situation with the staff to ensure that we take action immediately when a lost item is reported. I can assure you that we will do better in the future. This was below LaQuinta hotel standards

Pros: The location
Cons: The service to the guest. I did not feel that my comfort was a priority
Location: The location was convienent to the places I needed to go while in town.
The room was much smaller than other LaQuinta's I've stayed in. The room did not include a refrigerator nor microwave nor were the beds queen sized. They were full sized. The toilet ran day and night. When I called to report it; i had to call back several times before I could get someone to answer at the front desk. I was told that the person who handled that was gone for the day and would come and take care of it the next day. That never happened. The room had a very musty odor as if it had been wet.

Linda, Thanks for sharing your feedback about your stay with us this week. I am very sorry that the room did not meet your expectations. Our rooms with two beds are all full size beds. Only certain room types come with microfridges and that is designated on the room description on our reservation website. The room type that Expedia booked for you did not include a microfridge. I apologize for the toilet issue not being responded to as quickly as it should have. We definitely should have fixed it first thing the next morning. I am very sorry for the inconvenience that this caused you. I have shared all of your comments with both the Maintenance and Front Desk staffs to ensure that we do a better job of following up on issues next time. Thanks again for the feedback. Really nice hotel, great location with clean comfortable room. My only complaint is at the breakfast buffet a young woman held her dog in her arms while leaning over and around all the food. The animal drooled, panted and shook in the somewhat confined breakfast nook. This is in no way a reflection on the hotel as it happened without their knowledge, but it did happen and some might view it as a negative.

Wait in line to check in because of people with reservation problems When we got to our room the a/c was On full cold . Took all night to warm up. Every thing else was above part.

Nice hotel near restaurants and shopping.

Reserved online easily. Staff checked us in quickly. We traveled there from galveston during spring break since galveston was packed and pricier. There are restaurants surrounding hotel and shopping areas nearby. Overall a satisfying experience.
