Terrible hotel. Noisy, dirty

Bad, although the front desk did their best. The rooms were dirty, small, and can hear noise from neighboring rooms. Bed bugs in pullout sofa

Stay somewhere else

Not worth over $100 a night. Read the fine print, $16 a night for parking plus tax. I was told the parking fee was for a "secure" parking lot. When I checked in I found that yes the parking lot is gated but any vehicle can come and go. No pin/keycard/security to authorize entry. Plus signs everywhere saying their aren't responsible for your vehicle. When I brought this to the hotels attention I was told the fee is because everywhere else does it and another said its for maintenance expenses. I have never had to pay to park at a hotel before, ridiculous. Breakfast is about average with a few new items such as tortillas, rice, soup, chocolate croissants, lots of toppings for oatmeal/waffle. Missing bacon and muffins though. Traveling with little kids, it was nice to have a door to separate us in the "bedroom" at night from them in the "living room". Stairwell stunk and the lights were flickering. The lid for the toilet tank was oval yet the tank was rectangular. Unable to take a bath due to no drain plug. Several room lights did not work. Faucet ran several seconds after turning water off (stream not drip). The nice door I mentioned earlier locks when fully opened due to the door stop on the wall pushing in the handle lock. Knowing I had two toddlers in the room from reservation info they stuck me on the third floor right next to the stairwell/busy road.

I guess I expected more

I don't think they clean the rooms that well. We went to let out the pull out bed for our kids to lay in and as soon as we took the cushions off their was food and dirt. It was just nasty, as if they never clean under the cushions. The let out bed had stains. From the reviews I though the rooms were going to be cleaner but they were not. Our shower had rust around the drain, the drawers were really nasty when we opened them it was as if they had lots of water damage that never got fixed. I guess from the reviews I though the upkeep and cleanliness of the room would have been better. Other than that the hotel was ok.

Good location

Pros: Rooms were adequate. Security is good
Cons: shower could have used a soap/shampoo niche. TV channels in room weren't HD. Didn't really like the pillows on the bed (too thick and a bit hard).
Location: Galleria, plenty of restaurants, proximal to businesses that I needed to interact with
Great staff, easy check in, plenty of secure parking

Great stay - staying here every time I am in town

This is the third time I stay here. It's conveniently located and has been a very comfortable stay - nice bed, spacious, new decor, and, most importantly, clean.

Quaint Place to Relax..

Pros: The staff is exceptional - front desk, maintenance, breakfast personnel, and management. Great rooms, parking, security gates. Quaint small facility.
Cons: Heating in some of the rooms.
Location: Perfect location on main strip..across from Galleria, variety of eating establishments, shops and stores, easy freeway access, close to downtown.
Arrived early for check-in, which was not an issue, but room had two issues - smoke detector was constantly beeping and room was freezing. We called front desk, who promptly sent maintenance to repair detector. The heating repairs needed service so we were moved to another room immediately (the manager personally came to assist in this matter). Once moved, all was good. The continental breakfast was excellent!! There was a full hot buffet breakfast served - from eggs, waffles, and grits to dry cereal, bagel, and danishes. I would like to commend Tara for the excellent job during the breakfast. She was kind, polite, showed great patience with everyone, and kept the area very clean and tidy. She never let the food run low. Also, want to extend my applaud to Phil the manger on duty to an excellent customer service job in rectifying our initial problem expediently and professionally. He personally took the time out to come to our room to make sure our accommodations were satisfactory. And to Ulises, the maintenance professional, who showed quick response, courteous and professional attitude and expertise. And to the front desk personnel, they are the epitome of exceptional professionalism and customer service skill. A smile radiated there faces constantly. They were quick, knowledgeable, and detailed.

Awesome Location & Facility

We visit for a conference that wad held In The Galleria and our stay was amazing. We were right across the way from the mall so it was convenient to go back and forth without wearing yourself out. The breakfast was extraordinary. I loved the area and security of the building. It requires a key card for even the elevator.
