Quaint Place to Relax..

Pros: The staff is exceptional - front desk, maintenance, breakfast personnel, and management. Great rooms, parking, security gates. Quaint small facility.
Cons: Heating in some of the rooms.
Location: Perfect location on main strip..across from Galleria, variety of eating establishments, shops and stores, easy freeway access, close to downtown.
Arrived early for check-in, which was not an issue, but room had two issues - smoke detector was constantly beeping and room was freezing. We called front desk, who promptly sent maintenance to repair detector. The heating repairs needed service so we were moved to another room immediately (the manager personally came to assist in this matter). Once moved, all was good. The continental breakfast was excellent!! There was a full hot buffet breakfast served - from eggs, waffles, and grits to dry cereal, bagel, and danishes. I would like to commend Tara for the excellent job during the breakfast. She was kind, polite, showed great patience with everyone, and kept the area very clean and tidy. She never let the food run low. Also, want to extend my applaud to Phil the manger on duty to an excellent customer service job in rectifying our initial problem expediently and professionally. He personally took the time out to come to our room to make sure our accommodations were satisfactory. And to Ulises, the maintenance professional, who showed quick response, courteous and professional attitude and expertise. And to the front desk personnel, they are the epitome of exceptional professionalism and customer service skill. A smile radiated there faces constantly. They were quick, knowledgeable, and detailed.

Expensive for dumpy place.

The location was excellent, close to the galleria. It looked more like a cheap motel than a Residence Inn. We were expecting a Queen bed, but it was a double. When the his abs was pulled out, could not get out the door. Although it was fairly clean, the Devore was badly in need of an update. When we complained about the double bed, our concerns were dismissed, because we "had booked throu Expedia". We were told this was the standard Expedia room! We won't be back.

This hotel is to expensive for what they are.

Pros: Basically just the location.Should cost $ 60 a nigth , then it would be OK.
Cons: Parking , Elevators , Swimming Pool
Location: This is ok , lots of shopping , outlet discount stores and in front of the Galleria
At 100 F both elevators don't work , I learned it gone on for weeks and the maintenance guys where there but just couldn't fix them , I think the elevators where just bad quality . Its an issue because you have to carry your suitcases or shopping up three floors using an staircase with no air conditioning , this hotel is kind of a "Mix" between a Motel and an extended stay , there's a lot of families living there , I saw several carrying shopping up to the rooms. We paid $ 120 and they charged us twelve dollars per day for parking , they say "its on or website" that means you pay more than $120 and they don't even have free parking ? and the Customer service woman at the hotel very rude , like if this where normal. Nice swimming pool but really dirty. Besides that no warning from Expedia. This hotel is well located , yes but its not worth the price , Im very surprised its rated 4.4 ,

Great value for money, with space to accommodate 4 adults and a kitchenette; right next to the Galleria Mall.

Galleria with doggies

This Residence Inn is in a terrific location. It's a short walk to the Galleria (less than 5 min). Lots of great restaurants nearby and for a pet fee they allow your pets. Will definitely return next time we need that location.

I enjoyed the staying at the hotel. Very close to galleria mall. I believe it's priced well and it's good place for those who don't want to rent a car to move around

Close to a lot of restaurant

Close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The Galleria is right across the street. Was there for a business trip but had plenty to do at the hotel and surroundings.

Location: We took my dad for a medical appointment.
Everything was nice, except I checked my bank statement when returning home and just noticed I had three $20 charges taken from credit card. I tried to contact hotel to find out why this was since I paid upfront. Will continue to call to find out.
