Let's go again

Repeat guests over 50. Weekend. Love the sweet lady attending to the breakfast bar- great job! Side issue w another reservation charged, cancelled and getting refund was slightly challenging but their corporate office stepped in and resolved completely as soon as they were involved.

Nice place, great location, expensive parking

Pros: Nice people, pretty good breakfast included, nice facilities.
Cons: Finish construction on the property.
Location: Restaurants etc. on Main. Downtown circulator stop is just a block away.
This was as nice a Residence Inn as I've ever stayed in. The room was in perfect shape. Everything worked. The only parking option is a valet park garage. Things get busy in the mornings and it can take a little while to retrieve cars, but they do try. Overnight parking (which is probably pretty common for a hotel guest with a car) was almost 20% of the cost of our room, and we had a two-bedroom suite, so factor that into comparisons. (I suspect most other downtown hotels have expensive parking of course.)

Surprisingly easy access for a downtown hotel, not in he immediate vicinity of a lot but near enough to walk to tons of downtown spots.

Excellent pick

Downtown Houston is pretty much dead, however, this Hotel kept us nice and comfy during our visit. The rooms are excellent for the price, and they come with free Wi-Fi and free breakfast!

Construction Zone

We choose to stay here due to its proximity to the U of H because we were attending the preview weekend. Unfortunately, we were not able to partake of breakfast because it is not served until 7:30 on Saturdays. Luckily Starbucks was open.
