The absolute best!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay ! It was our 2nd year wedding anniversary! The staff was awesome! Everyone treate us as though we were family! Mrs. Sue at the bar area was awesome she made us a speciality drink and named it Dukes Passion! Awesome one of the best and most refreshing tropical drinks we ever had! Mrs. Sue made us feel like VIP celebrities! She's been with the hotel 19 years! We can see why she! The front desk, concierge, valet, room services everyone was Greaaaaat! We will definitely be back again! Thanks you expedia.com for great rates and availability and many thanks to Royal Sonesta start for making our vacation weekend one to remember!

Very beautiful hotel, Staff was excellent

Pros: I loved how the rooms are decorated, very relaxing.
Cons: Pool hours
Location: This hotel is right by the galleria and not too far from the aquarium.
My experience here was very nice. I did valet and they were extremely helpful, front desk staff greets you as soon as you walk in. The energy here is amazing, I would defiantly return!

Nice hotel near the Galleria

Staff attentive, good amenities. I don't see why they charge for parking.

Very comfortable bed and clean room

Highly recommended hotel but downsides are parking too expensive ($24), swimming pool too small and hotel is located on one way road.

Disappointed

Several things went wrong from the beginning. Requested, in advance, two rooms since I have 15 years olds. When we arrived rooms were not toghether best they could do it is on the same floor. They were out of the cribs. Ended up sharing bed with 9 months old for two days. Walls were paper thin could hear our loud neighbors for half of the night. Lastly, bath tub was full of black hair, gross! Ended up cleaning it myself! when checking out, the front desk clerk did not even ask us about our stay! First time ever happened to us! Should have gone with the usual, Westin but decided to experiment based on the great reviews, never again!

It wasn't worth the money.

The snacks were over priced. Didn't have an open laundry mat. You had to pay to get your clothes washed. The pool was disgusting. And everywhere we turned the staff were over looking us. Like we were doing something bad.

Copa America

I went to Houston for the soccer match, and I stay over night.. I eat at the bar, the food was ok but the services was great.. On our way to the stadium, the front desk requested a taxi for me. After the game, we grab a drink at the bar, again great services. The room amenities, were excellent and the beds were super comfortable. Before checking out we had breakfast at the restaurant. The only think about the buffet that I did not like, is that it doesn't include pancakes or waffles other than that the experience was excellent.

Excelente opción para ir de compras

Cons: El desayuno es demasiado basico
Location: Está muy cercano a la Galeria y te permite ir de compras sin necesidad de invertir mas en un hotel caro.
Me parece una excelente opcion para ir de compras sin tener que invertir en un hotel caro, las instalaciones son de muy buen nivel y el personal es servicial.
