Winter time is when Houston really shines. It is a season characterized by bright clear days and brisk moonlit nights. It's a city that gets a lot of precipitation, but when the clouds part it can be truly magnificent. I often say The Biscuit Paint Wall is a super cute place in Houston (Montrose to be exact) to take pictures. One of the coolest things ever. It's like you're on a tropical island and there's a bunch of magical fairies flying around. Fun place for the family with young kids of all ages. Very wide selection of sea species. Must visit if in town. Amazing vegan!!! A Houston mecca for modern art. The museum was founded in 1948 and presented art in locations all over the city. In 1972, CAMH moved into this beautiful facility designed by Gunnar Birkerts. Just what it says. It's a monument to the city's namesake, Sam Houston. Another beautiful day in Houston. Munro originally conceived the idea for Field of Light in 1992 during a trip through the red desert of central Australia, when he sketched a landscape of illuminated stems that would wait like dormant seeds in a dry desert, to bloom at night. This is a memorial located in the park Enjoyed a night out of a food tour of downtown Houston. Good times, good food and good drinks. The Conservatory in downtown Houston is a great spot to go with a group of friends as it like an adult food court. Plenty of small food vendors with everything from BBQ to Sushi and a vast selection of local and craft beers on tap. Another little visitor. It's a small aquarium, but very cool! Get there before 11:30 to beat the crowds. The Reef restaurant in Houston (2600 Travis St 77006) is amazing. Four of us had dinner and everything from the apps to the entree to dessert and wine was among the best meals any of us have had. Service was equal as well A must try #BarLove Everything is better in Texas!
