Exactly what you'd expect from a hotel airport

Posted Dec 4, 2017
Pros: Front desk staff, comfy beds
Location: Close to airport, shuttle to dining nearby but otherwise not much else.
We picked this hotel due to it's airport shuttle and food on premise. We accidentally flew into the other Houston airport and could have switched to the other courtyard but opted not to. Check-in was a breeze with amazing stafff who helped us sort out the wrong airport issue and were very understanding of our long day. Amy in particular was fantastic. The bistro in the lobby had decent food which was great since we were past dinner time and had hungry manic kids in tow. Would recommend the grilled cheese but not the quesadilla for the kids (tortilla was super dry and basically like a cracker with some melted cheese). Room was clean and nicely appointed for the price. Beds were comfy. Had a single cockroach in our room which wasn't a shock or huge issue for us as I don't freak out over bugs. I called to let the front desk know just to be a good citizen and they were extremely apologetic and offered to move our room or have someone come deal with it but we opted not to. I disposed of the roach and they insisted on comping our breakfast. Speaking of which, I thought breakfast was included but apparently isn't if you book off expedia. Overall, it's about what I would expect from a near-airport hotel in terms of niceness, but with amazingly awesome staff.

comfortable stay near airport

Posted Nov 30, 2017
Hotel was pretty with light dining and drinks in lobby. Room was nice but had a little trouble keeping it cool and beds had a slope to the center that made it tough for a couple to share a double bed. Great experience overall. Definitely will go back when needing to stay near airport.

Double Billed

Posted Nov 30, 2017
I love Marriott but noticed I was billed for the room a 2nd time after I paid thru Expedia. I noticed on my CC statement that I get everyday, If I would not have noticed, Marriott would have been paid 2 times, and I was only there for maybe 6 hours as I checked in close to 2am and left on the flight the next morning at 730am.

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is currently being renovated due to Hurricane Harvey. The hallways had a smell that wasn’t pleasant due to the work but the rooms were very nice. Very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel, near highway

Good hotel, decent price. The room is very clean and spacious. Shower was just okay, kind of scratchy towels and flat pillows. Would stay here again, very reasonable.

Harvey slept here

Having just been flooded on the first floor by the Hurricane Harvey rains, the hotel was doing great! The staff was upbeat and inspiring. I left feeling hopeful about the aftermath in Houston because of people like the staff here.
