Average
Booked superior room but asked to be upgraded as it smelled musty & had no opening window. Sea view room much better with balcony. Pool bar was dirty and kids were playing in there when there was a kids pool of their own. Service and staff friendly. Breakfast ok but not a big choice.

This hotel is great for family vacation with kids. The hotel is well maintained, all facilities are functioning well. Love the swimming pool very much, its long enough for us to have a great swim. Will come back again if we want relaxing holidays.

Unfortunately the property isn‘t maintained as it should be. On the roof top pool many pigeons make dirt around the pool and in the pool. That problem should be solved immediately because this is dangerous for the health of the guests. The breakfast for the foreigners is everyday the same, completely boring and unexpected in a 4 stars hotel. The pool bar at the jacuzzi was never open, we regretted this.

Great location
Location was great, we got what we expected for the price which we thought was good. Only negative was our room which was Opposite a bar so from around 7pm to midnight we have loud karaoke music on out last two nights of the holiday

My Kids' Favorite Hotel
Best hotel ever. I will definitely return as often as possible. The hotel staff provide an international degree of service which is rare in Thailand. The large pool-access room was clean, beautiful and comfortable. The amenities for kids in particular were fantastic. The children's play room was supervised and I was able to drop off my kids and have some time to myself to relax. The pool was large, clean and beautiful. The playground, kid's pool and water slide were my children's favorite part. The breakfast buffet had a very wide variety of Western and Thai food. This hotel is even better than it looks in the pictures. It is right across the street from a nice stretch of sandy beach. There is a 7/11 nearby.

Great location on the north beach
Hotel was in a great location on the north beach of cha am, close walk to shops and restaurants and a short scooter of taxi ride into soi bus station. Buffet breakfast was disappointing, not a huge amount of variety and no bacon which is just a no no! Overall a good stay here.

Clean & decent hotel directly opposite beach
if you are a person like quite and clean beach, Cha Am beach is a good pick. The hotel is clean, huge bedroom, directly opposite Cha Am beach, pretty decent breakfast with sea view. The hotel lobby also facing beach where you may enjoy sun raise. Beside every morning there are monks walking along the beach which you could buy some food for them (stalls available along the beach). I will certainly come back again.

Away from busy Hua Hin
Perfect location, just over the road from a good beach. All the shops & services all along the road, street food cafes & better restaurants, great selection. Chose to upgrade to pool access room, literally roll out of bed into the pool. Location of Cha-am is much quieter & more enjoyable than the very busy Hua Hin 20km away. Highly recommend this hotel, very good value for the price.

Family and Friends Trip
The Hotel is in a very good location and very clean with easy parking and lots amenities and things to do. It was also very close to shops and restaurants. The Staff are also very nice, polite and helpful. A great place for a relaxing get away.

Not worth for high price pay
The hotel needs to maintenance much more. Many things don't work properly. Don't be stiff on shampoo & baht gel. With the price to stay per night, you should at least give one per person. What I got were 1 small shampoo and 1 small baht gel for two person which were not enough. Have to buy them from store by yourself. This is not I expect to get from a hotel that charge me almost 4000/night. I may regret more if I have to pay full price to stay there.

We booked two rooms and stayed for one night. We would stay in this hotel again, but is a bit frayed around the edges. Some TLC by the new owners would be appreciated by guests. Breakfast is buffet style fixed price at B300, we preferred a local restaurant with more choices at less cost.

Beach Front Hotel Cha-am
Stopped here for two nights on our way back to Pattaya. Great beach road location and good facilities. Would we stay again? Yes...defiantly..good service and cases taken from the car to your room and easy free parking.

Great location
This hotel is located on the beach front of North Cha'am. This is very near to a picturesque fishing village and away from the tourist trap of Hua Hin. Quiet and accessible, with a swimming pool that that can be reached from the balcony of !st floor rooms.

Where on Earth is housekeeping ???
Probably had too high expectations, but seriously, service no where to be seen. Purposely arrived after 2pm but kept waiting for 45 minutes as "room not ready". No updates from any of staff the during our wait. And housekeeping only showed up again 2 hrs before we checked out (after staying 2 nights). But they were diligent in pool cleaning though. We stayed in a Pool Access room and imagine my girlfriend's shock when she drew the curtains and saw a cleaner grinning at her.

Relaxing Stay
The Unico Grand Sandara is a very nice hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. We had a pool access room which was excellent because it was quite warm and having the pool literally at our door step was great. Check-in was quick and efficient but check-out a little more complicated, the desk clerk had limited English and it took a long time to confirm that we had not used the mini bar or taken any towels etc. We were not very impressed with the restaurant but this was not a huge problem as there are many good eating places close by which are much cheaper and have a better food selection. We found most of the staff very friendly and eager to please as is the norm in Thailand. I would recommend this hotel especially for families.
