The hotel is nice and clean. The location of hotel near to the beach and convenient store. There are bicycles for guests to ride around hotel and to the beach.

Not worth the money I had to pay

Posted May 17, 2013 on Hotels
This hotel has great reviews from Thai nationals, which makes me think they were mbe done by the staff and their friends. The resort is "tired' and run down, old towels and bedding, chipped and cracked walls floors. Rusty feeble shower with a mind of its own from scalding hot to cold. The breakfast is standard fare for 1 and 2 star hotels in Thailand. The cereal was cheap soft cornflakes. Pool has no shade and was like swimming in a hot bath. Avoid going to this resort in the School holidays - mobbed with screaming kids and the pool never seems to close 2 a.m. and people were still screaming and jumping around in it. Location is poor for the centre of Hua Hin and limited transport to get there. Over all just not worth it, I made a mistake of believing the photographs posted on the net and the reviews.

Amazing hotel and a great location. However, staff is not comfortable in speaking English which is manageable.

Good family hotel

We had a great time at the seahorse, theres a lovely pool and it's not overcrowded, breakfast is pretty much the same everywhere in Thailand but there was plenty of it and it was always warm. Virtually opposite the hotel we found a bar owned by a chap from Yorkshire by the name of Bob and had some great nights in there, it's definatly worth a visit if your stopping in the Seahorse and I believe he's starting to do food soon

It has its ups and downs

Posted Aug 21, 2012
Pros: Free Bike Hire, Great pool
Cons: Bikes weren't the greatest to say the least
Location: Needs a lot more renovation and up-keep
The hotel is ok if u like to only sleep init and kick back by the pool. Very quiet for couples, staff speak practically no English and surrounds are not the cleanest!

My room was just in front of the swimming pool . When I opened my door , I could jump into the pool after few steps. I also love the bathroom; it was big and clean . I could take shower or do spa in my bathroom. The ceiling of the bathroom was made of bamboo, sunlight can penetrate the ceiling and warm up the whole bathroom.
