The property has fantastic resources but the staff was not well trained and the hotel did not honor their posted promotions. Most facilities were closed including gym, tennis, and kids zone. Peppina was good for food but the hotel restaurant was disappointing.

It is a quiet hotel with a good swimming pool.It is very close,within a few minutes walk to the local village which has numerous restaurants at reasonable prices and good quality.The hotel rooms are a bit tired and as frequent returners we were disappointed to have to ask for bath robes and slippers which are usually provided! The hotel restaurant is expensive and the breakfast overpriced.Its interesting that if you dont pre book breakfast,you are offerred it at half the price when you arrive and tell them its expensive!Perhaps Expedia should negotiate direct with the hotel for a better price beforehand.Customers bewarned..every weekend hoardes of Thai,Japanese or Chinese descend on the hotel for conferences and parties.These are loud affairs but do usually end at 11pm!

Booked a room in the Regency Wing. Facilities are not available at the Regency Wing as there is renovation work ongoing, 8am to 8pm at night, seven days a week. Noise was intrusive an unbearable at times. There was no warning about the building work either here or on hotel website prior to booking.
Likely that renovations could be ongoing for most of 2020.

Good service mid staffs, even the hotel runs for more than 30 years, the facilities are kelpt clean and renovate. However the beach is poor.

Lovely hotel recently renovated , rooms were spacious and clean!
The pool would benefit from a good clean, there is algae growing in the shallow pool. Food was lovely! The hotel location is fairly remote so a taxi Is required to venture out but these are easy to come by ! Very pleasant stay

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and good service, efficient good check-in and check-out, comfortable, clean and secure. Wifi was not so good and a bit erratic, and the beach is a bit disappointing.
Overall, good value for money.

Leisure trip with friends. Lobby check-in staff was not friendly for our check-in. Even the bell-boy was much better service and nice than her. Breakfast need to improve as quality was dropping. Spacious room and comfy.

The grounds amazing swimming pools, trees right on the beach but the rooms must be 30 years old and the prices for food and drink are double anywhere else I’ve stayed in Thailand no wonder everyone goes down to the village to eat and drink.

Very nice and clean pool and pool area. Very quiet area. Although the beach wasn’t great for swimming it served as a nice view. The reception staff wasn’t very friendly, the remaining staff, however, was very nice.

I Don’t Care to Stay There Again
It was OK. I slept well. I wasn’t crazy about the atmosphere or about Cha-am in general. There seems to be a taxi mafia there. Every time you need a taxi you get hit with a 300 to 500 baht charge. There are no meters. It got on my nerves.
