Th hotel is very convenient. There are many dining and shopping options nearby, all in walking distance. Hotel staffs are always warm and kind.

Good location for walking around. Not a 4 star hotel in my opinion though. Only one chair in room. Had useless recessed shelf area with a cushion, too deep to use as a couch. Breakfast buffet just OK but with no fruit.

Helpful & courteous staff, decent breakfast, comfortable room, but rooms were small and it was a little unwelcoming and impersonal with staff still wearing masks. Overall a good stay and also convenient to food like Mr Goose and a good bun shop.

Everything about the property was just fine - location was close to an area of a few bars and lots of restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms ere spotless.

The Byeyer Hotel is about 1 mile from the train station and the Dongdamen Night Market. We found it centrally locates for our needs. Staff was very friendly and professional. Our 2 rooms were spacious and the shower/bathroom was very clean and large. Room amenities were comfortable. Breakfast was varied slightly day to day and we felt it offered a variety of options. We would recommend this hotel to friends and would stay again on our next trip.

Stayed in a quadruple room and it was extremely warm. We were unable to adjust the fan speed and the hotel couldnt do anything abt it so they provided a fan which wasn't of much help either.

Room wasn't very clean (won't go into the details here) and there were some stains and marks on the walls. Bed was big and comfortable, but there was a dim night light which we could't turn off before bed. We were unable to manually control the AC.

Great place and location
We’ve been to this hotel about 6 years back and it’s still well kept after all these years. Super convenient location - walking distance to all the activities including the dongdamen night market.

Staff is helpful and polite, the room was clean. It worked for us as the hotel has a parking. Breakfast had only Chinese food options. Overall, not bad but rooms look a bit tired and need quite some dusting.

Decent hotel, pretty well located half way between the train station and the nightmarket, which given Hualien's limited public transport was why I chose the hotel. The highlight of the room was the rainfall shower which was outstanding and the bathroom generally was far above the level which I expected. Rest of the room was decently appointed and that extra level comfort which made it worth the money. Breakfast was ok, and the check in experience could have been improved as it was a little impersonal.

Close to Hualien railway station
It's easy to walk to railway station and night market from hotel. Staff is helpful. There's bus stop right in front tho bus frequency is high that taking bus is not recommended in Hualien.

Great staff but very outdated
This hotel has great staff but everything out just seems outdated. The room was humid and worn out. The breakfast was mediocre (everywhere else had a much better Taiwanese breakfast). The only redeeming quality was the size of the room but being so outdated, it was a big uncomfortable space. The hotel seems like it had its heyday in the late 90s, early 2000s.

Very ordinary hotel
It’s a typical 3 star hotel in my opinion, definitely not a 4 star hotel as officially rated. So don’t expect too much in term of hotel conditions. Breakfast is also just so so, free parking behind the hotel is a plus though.

Very helpful staff
There was leakage in the shower room. We mentioned this to the staff and got it fixed within the day. The staff are very polite and helpful! Even offered courtesy bus with very polite driver!

Great Value - Close to shops
My friend and I stayed at this hotel for one night. We stayed on the 8th floor and were impressed with the size of the bedroom - two full size beds, huge bathroom, TV, fridge, and complimentary water, coffee/tea. The staff was very courteous. Their English is limited but the receptionist was very nice. As for the complimentary breakfast - I find it adequate, probably better off if you went out to feed yourself, it was definitely more suitable for the East Asian population. The stores around the hotel closes very late. There's a bank atm right next door. The night market isn't that far of a walk, about 10-15 minutes depending on your pace. Easy to get to. Also, I took a taxi to the hotel, it's about 230 Taiwan dollars, about $10 USD.

Great location. Good hotel and easy to move around. Stayed on the 7th floor. Liked the sitting area and the fact that the TV can be spinned around to face either the bed or the sofa. Spacious bathroom. Minor suggestion: Having additional hooks in the bathroom would be helpful.
