Poor Business

Our stay was fine other than we booked through hotels.com then the hotel charged us an additional 2 times upon check-in. Additionally, we requested a late checkout for 12pm, and came back at 11am and they had already come in and stripped the room for cleaning.

One Night Travel Stop

Average hotel, only stayed in the area one night. Bed was comfortable, but a lot of road noise from nearby highway, especially for rooms at north end of the property. The bathroom faucet had virtually no water pressure and it literally took 30 seconds to fill a plastic cup with water. probably clogged, as no such problems with shower head.

I arrived at the location early after nearly an 11 hour drive hoping for early check in, the desk attendant, a younger man, was very impatient, had no personality and basically rude in responses to everything I had asked him. I sat in my car for 2hrs waiting for the room to be ready. The in room bar sink was blocked in at the valves and didn't work due to water line leaks. The cable box kept cutting out and rebooting due to a plug issue I fixed myself. When I went down for the continental breakfast in the morning, there was no coffee and the attendant who was the same individual at the desk the night before was no where to be found, I had to go to a local McDonald's for coffee which was completely unacceptable.

Dear Guest, We apologize for the inconveniences that you faced. Please let the front desk know immediately if you face any inconveniences. This way, the hotel has the opportunity to correct any problems and reduce the inconveniences that you face for the remainder of your stay. Your reservation was made through a 3rd party booking website and the name that you provided to the agent was different than what the 3rd party entered into the system. That is why the front desk agent had difficulty locating your reservation. In regards to not being able to check-in when you arrived prior to the check-in time, the hotel was sold out the night prior to your arrival; therefore, when you arrived at the hotel close to the checkout time of 11AM, a room in the room type that you had reserved was not ready. This is why the hotel's check-in time is listed as 3PM, so guests do not arrive early in the morning or afternoon and get disappointed that their room is not ready. Some hotels have check-in times of 4PM or later. Check-out time is 11AM and we cannot force guests to leave early because a guest arriving that day would like to check-in early. The front desk agent did offer a room type to you that was ready; however, you declined to check into that room because it was a different room type. I am glad that we were still able to get you checked into a room prior to the listed check-in time of 3PM. Majority of our guests look forward to a freshly brewed cup of coffee in the morning and there certainly is coffee each morning. The team member was replacing the existing pot with another pot at the time that you came to get coffee. An overwhelming majority of the guests are understanding of the fact that items do have to be replenished. For future reference, if you would like an early check-in, then please contact the hotel prior to making your reservation to see if it will be possible, so you are not disappointed when your arrive early and cannot immediately get checked-in.

We are strict about the 100% non-smoking policy. A fee of $250.00 is charged to guests that break the non-smoking rule. It is unfortunate that the front desk agent was perceived as rude for making you aware of the $250.00 charge because smoking occurred in the room. For future reference, if you choose to stay at a hotel that is 100% non-smoking, then please obey the hotel's non-smoking rule or choose a hotel that has smoking rooms.

Check in was very slow and the staff at check-in and check-out were rather un-friendly. The continental breakfast is by far the worst I've ever had. There was a small stain on the comforter but other than that the room was very clean. I have had a better experience at other hotels for about 2/3 the price.

The bedding had blood spots on them. Not the sheets. The little comforter. It was crusty and they had not been washed. The chair had ashes in it even though it was a non smoking room. I will not stay there again.

Pros: Location near Interstate exit
Cons: Replace torn couch in the roof
Check-in staff was THE best! Very friendly and went beyond expected service.
