Had a week in Madrid. Just wanted basic accommodation (bed, washing facilities, wifi), this place fit the bill the perfectly. Close to Prado museum, and not far from anywhere else. It's up a side street so not too noisy, I would recommend taking ear plugs tho as it's still in city centre (you can't escape traffic noise). Would stay here again if in Madrid, convenient and well placed. I had a private bathroom, don't do sharing.

Perfect hotel (we had the suite in room 203), best staff (40 Euro for late checkout until 8:30 pm at a 400 Euro per night suite; made reservations everywhere; always with a smile and very helpful); best location!!

We got the three bedroom apartment. It had limited air-conditioning that was challenging in the summer heat. They tried to assist with extra fan and covering windows which made it a bit dark and gloomy. Other guests with smaller apartments were fine.
Staff was helpful and location was close to attractions.

I have one long weekend in Madrid each year ( four nights) and always stay at this hotel - I received a room upgrade this time - the room was spacious - the bathroom was fabulous - the hotel staff very helpful - I did not have breakfast in the hotel but had tapas and cocktails in the restaurant two of the evenings which was excellent - unfortunately the evening weather was against spending much time in the Roof Top Bar - the views from this bar are wonderful - the hotel is centrally located and close to all tourist spots - there seems to be a renewed effort by Madrid to promote itself as a tourist city and I liked their slogan "Madrid is about you" - a great city for a relaxing break.
