Almost everything was below my expectations about the hotel. Should be called a guest house instead.

Good convenience, everything else not so good

Posted Aug 31, 2017
This hotel is really close to Hung Hom station, which makes it very convenient for short trips. The room are insanely small so if you have a lot of luggage it's better to find other options. The walls are paper thin so you can hear pretty much everything next door. It can be really bothersome having loud neighbors. There are practically no views so there isn't much where to choose in terms of good rooms. Bathroom is OK with basic amenities, however exhaust fan can be noisy. The hotel needs basic maintenance, tho it's not dirty or damaged, just overused. Maids are quick and do a good work cleaning, their English is somewhat limited, the same for the rest of the staff. If you are around during typhoon season keep in mind that the building will swing under heavy winds, and you will feel it. However the structure is in good shape and it was designed to safely swing as most tall buildings in Hong Kong.

It would be worst

The fridge was not working. It was super hot. The air conditioning wasn't blowing cool air despite setting it to "cool" and 16C. The sliding door to the bathroom was not sliding properly/impossible to close. Yet the sign on the door tells me to close to door while showering to prevent the smoke detectors. It is just across from the the Chinese funeral ceremonial location. The walls are super thin, I can hear the people in the next room talking and know when they are taking a shower. You can get a night sleep when things are going well.

Clean room, good location, but room is micro-sized

Posted Apr 16, 2017 on Hotels
I do push-up, but I ended up doing push-up on top of bed. I had to figure out how to open and close doors while I carry my up-right luggage (spinners should be fine). Location is just perfect if you plan to go to China by train after your HK visit. I do understand how expensive and small is HK residential and commercial spaces, but it is just shocking when I entered the room. I may be accustomed when I visit HK once more. If you travel alone and just need sleep one or two days, it should be fine. It's clean and has 'full size bed'. I do not really think it is suitable for two people. A couple with a child? Seriously?
