“Kingslodge Inn is a lovely English country inn conveniently located near Durham train station and bus station. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bar & restaurant offer great good in a cozy environment. Just note that there isn't an elevator; I had to carry my big suitcase one floor up.”

“Beautiful grand hall set in beautiful grounds, didn't spend much time there, due to stay related to attending a wedding near by. Hotel contacted us before our stay to check any requests and were kind enough to say even though check in not till 3pm and we needed to be at our wedding for 2:30 said we could leave our luggage and do the check in process and collect key after the wedding, but when we arrived the room was ready so they let us go straight to the room. If we were to return would pay……

“The Lodge is of superb quality,massive bedrooms and on suites so nice..Hot tub was asn option but not used.Staff on reception first class..Breakfast was good but spoilt a little by rather surly staff.. Overall a lovely experience and wouldnt hesitate to recommended ”

“I was a completely unplanned visitor who trekked the moors at night to reach the Inn. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that. My stay was wonderful, the food was really delicious, and everyone with whom I spoke was just up-front and pleasant. I will be back some day and guess where I'll stay?”

“Would usually book a hotel as moving child to Newcastle Uni but due to home match and lots of other parents moving their kids in, hotels were thin on the ground! Picked the apartments and was pleasantly surprised. Ticked all the boxes and great to have a small kitchen. Had everything we needed. Only criticism would be a lack of bedside table/shelf and the sofa wasn’t the comfiest but it was all clean and functional. Will def recommend. ”

“Had a lovely relaxing time with my girlfriend and her husband, room was so clean and had everything we needed, absolutely loved being able to log into Netflix on the tv which was a great size. We were checked in by a lovely young man who also served us our food, he was very attentive and even brought us extra sides for our burgers. Exceptional service from a lovely lady who served us breakfast and made sure we had fresh coffee immediately, she was also fantastic with all other customers. We will……
