“My experience, with the self checking kiosk , a parking pass was not given to me. My vehicle got towed, resulting in an early leave, so to some financial complications. I booked a hotel downtown in Houston, I ask them if a parking pass was required, and they replied No. Because your name is in the system if they run your plates. Something doesn’t seem right at LivAway in San Marcos”

“We had a wonderful stay. the mosquitos on the patio in the back were horrible though. Also maybe better instructions given as a lady walked in to our room because she wasn’t sure where to go. (our fault for not having door locked) beautiful house”

“Great place to stay! We found this place by accident in 2025 and made our way back this year! Very reasonably priced and directly on the river. Shanty’s tubes is just across the street and you get in at the bridge—very convenient! We can’t wait to visit again!!”

“Cute little collection of cabins. Accessibility getting into cabins was poor- variable height old warped wooden stairs made using a cane challenging. I hadn't asked for accessibility but stairs seem pretty basic. I'll go back, but be sure to have dealt with that at reservations. 2 bed room cabin was incredibly small, cozy to cramped depending on your taste. No seating whatsoever except side of bed. Bed reasonably comfortable. Very clean. Prices very high but consistent with that "resort" area.……

“Great property, staff and location. Not to be an absolute Karen- but I do wish there was a required dress attire when coming down for breakfast/meals. There were women who came down in house shoes, robes and see through nightgowns, where families are eating. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and gone on a lot of trips and never seen people actually come down half dressed to eat at a table. The property was great though.”

“First room smelled like pee. We got moved promptly and the front desk attendant was very helpful. We got into the second room and it was hot and stuffy. Had to wait for it to cool down but beats the smell of pee. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent.”

“El personal fue muy amable y el check-in fue super rapido, no mas de 5 minutos. La habitación estaba muy ordenada y limpia aunque debo decir que tenía un ligero olor a humedad. De las dos camas de la habitación, el colchón de una de ellas ya merece un cambio, hacían ruido los resortes al moverse. El aire acondicionado funcionaba muy bien pero era muy ruidoso, en la segunda noche me di cuenta que era una pieza la que hacia el ruido, la fije con una sandalia y problema resuelto. Las sabanas y……

“Good hotel for visiting Wimberley. It’s clean, nice view, the pool is beautiful. It’s a little bit drive out from Wimberley downtown.”
