Hotel was recently renovated within the last year. New beds and bathroom. Breakfast was ok but it was free so no complains.

Thank you for your feedback. However our construction hours are Monday-Friday 9-5. we do this for many reasons and try our best not to disturb guests. The New Gym and indoor pool are part of the renovations on the 1st floor we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please try Huntersville Inn and Suites in the future. Thank You Sally

Clueless

Posted Apr 11, 2017 on Hotels
These folks are still trying to figure out how to run a hotel. No hanging place for coats in small room. Locked out of our room when we returned after day away. Finally got in room, found that it had not been serviced by housekeeping. Front desk had no idea. Breakfast room was a regular hotel room that had been converted. Power went out in that room during breakfast. Checked out after 2 nights, found out when we got back home that hotel had charged us for 2 nights in addition to the 2 nights we had already prepaid to Hotels.com. Called them and they had no answer, but they said our credit card will be credited for the 2 nights. Will never stay there again.

We're sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. Perhaps i can answer your concerns as follows, Closet is spacious enough to accomodate a long coat, the mfg. designed it with that in mind. Breakfast area is just temporary place as we are renovating the breakfast area and the common spaces on the bottom floor. Thank You for feedback, Huntersville Inn and Suites

The hotel is in the middle of renovation. The desk clerk was wonderful and the room on the top, newly renovated, floor was very good. Good value for the money.

Not the best...

Posted Feb 17, 2017 on Hotels
Housekeeping was not good. Never even made the bed and we were there for 5 nights. Never replenished the shampoo samples. Seemed like all they did was empty trash and put clean towels in the room. Pillows were hard as rocks so was difficult to sleep. Went out and bought a cheap one just so i could sleep. Probably won't stay there again. Front desk person however was extremely nice and helpful. Also our key card stopped working lime 3 times.

There were no linens on the beds in the first room... Second room, the door had a hard time latching and was wide open when I initially walked in... The cabinets were all open and the ironing board and equipment were out... TV wouldnt sync to my devices. And theres an odd (not necessarily unpleasant) odor upon entry... The elevator moves slow and groans at you but operational... Only about 10 cars in the lot, but it seems like we were all on top of each other on the same floor so it was super loud. Pillows are half sized, so it was like sleeping with a handful of snickers minis... If youre looking for hot water, turn it on when you get there because its going to take its time heating up... Mirror Frame in the bathroom lit up, so that was fun... Not upset, just not impressed.

Nice hotel close to the lake.

Great place to stay. If you are visiting the Charlotte area, check out Huntersville Inn and Suites. The rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and food tasted great. It is a nice commute to Uptown Charlotte. It only took 30 minutes and we were able to get a nice park.
