Remodeling Issues

Pros: It was convenient to the activities that I was in the area for that weekend.
Cons: There seem to be long term guests at this location. There was a lot of adjoining room noise late into the night and people gathering in the hallways.
Location: There is a small amusement park adjoining the property. It appeared to be a good place to go with kids during the day and into the evening.
I've stayed in several remodeled Motel 6 locations and they are well done, clean and comfortable. This location is being remodeled from the previous Days Inn ownership, and apparently has only a few rooms available that have been remodeled. When I arrived I was given a room that had not been remodeled. It was in pretty bad shape. I asked the man at the desk to assign another room which he did. It too was in bad shape. While I had gone to the second room the man at the front desk called to ask if the room was OK and I told him no. He came up to the room with a key to one of the recently remodeled rooms. Apparently it had just been completed and not confirmed in his system to be available. It was clean and up to the standards that I have seen at other Motel 6 locations. The man at the front desk was very helpful, customer oriented and professional.

Hotel OK

freeway noise excessive, room nearby refurb very noisy. Staff throwing trash in large bin until early evening

Walking distance from Circle OC Nightclub

Rooms are being renovated at the moment so it smelled a little painty and the dust from the outside walkway was tracked in on our shoes. The room wasn’t bad for a overnight stay for the club Circle OC.

At least the was a bed and a door with a lock

There wasn't even an alarm clock. The bathroom ceiling was cracked and sagging with spots of mold all over. I guess I'm lucky there was a bar of soap and thank God I brought my own shampoo/conditioner. The remote didn't work with the tv. The bright lights from the back of the hotel shining in would have been blocked out with the dark curtains IF they were long enough. The banging and loud noises made for a very restful nights sleep. Luckily I had the option of two beds in my room so I didn't have to sleep in the one with yellow stains on the bed spread. My favorite part though has to be sitting in my car getting organized to head out and getting to watch the local police run the plates of the cars in the parking lot. Fun times! The guy at the front desk was nice though :)

May be nice once the renovation is completed

Pros: The room was clean, having a refrigerator and microwave was a benefit.
Cons: Do not put a guest next to a room that is being renovated!
Location: Good location, close to the freeway.
Limited parking space due to renovation at the property. They were doing construction on the room right next to me; that was a bit annoying.

It was an okay hotel for the price. The room is very small and so is the restroom. They were doing construction on the room right next to us and that was a bit annoying. If you don't check out by exactly 11 they go to your room and try to open it to remind you that it is at 11.

Fumigation Stay

Pros: It was very close to home and it was clean and pleasant. We had one King bed and one full bed which was perfect for the 3 of us.
Cons: Due to the renovations there was very limited parking. Hopefully that will improve.
Location: The motel is kind of hidden because it is at the end of a cul-de-sac but Fountain Valley Boomers is right there.
Our house was being fumigated for termites so we needed a place close to home for two nights. The motel is going through some renovations. It will be very nice when they are completed.

Good location

But check in was so slow. Room with old furniture. no shampoo, no conditioner, no paper cups. With this rate we did stay at another hotels with a lot more amenities and free breakfast too.
