Pros: The Reception and checkout processes were both handled very professionally. Friendly, courteous and efficient.
Cons: Rooms could be updated. Still has the feeling of an old fashioned Holiday Inn.
Location: Very good access to a variety on dining venues many within walking distance.
Reception and checkout processes were handled very professionally. Dining facility experience was below average. Food was not properly prepared or served in a timely manner. Rooms were very clean but dated especially for a business traveler. Internet service was above average.

Very helpful hotel staff on the phonePosted Jan 5, 2018
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful.
I called the hotel a few times before my son checked in. The hotel staff is always very polite and helpful. I got great impression even before my son checked in. The hotel staff informs me the free airport shuttle - which runs every couple of minutes - great service. I'm particularly impressed with the friendliness over the phone and eagerness to help. They also allow my son to check out at 2 PM, thus he does not need to rush to pack his luggage before his morning meeting. Excellent service! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

stay in HuntingtonPosted Dec 22, 2017
Cons: see above
Location: close to shops, food and movies
Stay was for business. As with all the Holiday Inn Express's they are over priced for the quality of hotel. This place was an old hotel with a fresh coat of paint. Rooms were ok. Bath was the typical cover up of old bath room. Elevator sounded like the doors was going to fall off and had a back door that the scary staff would enter with you. The biggest disappointment was that the cost of the room was for a high end hotel with breakfast but I still had to pay for breakfast on top of that. And I had to ask the staff to restock the trays that were empty. Hardly a $10.00 breakfast.

Convenient area of town, easy parking on site, spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff, and appreciated the keurig and hair dryer in room.

Location a plus. This is our second time to stay at this hotel. Both stays were very pleasant.

Location: For a good dining experience, try 21 at The Frederick, which is a few blocks away. It's not cheap, but nice ambiance, and excellent food.
The suite was very nice, making it possible for one person to sleep while the other was still awake. Very quiet - I didn't hear anything from adjoining rooms or from outside.
