I do not understand why we were put in a handicap room. I was looking forward to a nice warm soak in a tub. We couldn’t get into the room when we checked in because they were still cleaning rooms. I was told check-in was at noon and check-out was also noon. Strange. The bed was very comfortable. It just seemed really strange that we were put in a handicap room

The check in was easy and friendly ! TV didn’t work the desk person came within minutes and fixed it - friendly and apologetic

We stayed for two nights to be near family. The rooms are accessed from the outside which I don’t prefer but nothing about that on the website description. Breakfast was ok and ran out of eggs and gravy so that was disappointing. The room was clean, but as I was sitting in my room in the afternoon after our room had already been visited by the maid service, one of the maids put her face right up to the window to look in. I did not appreciate tha invasion of privacy. Just not impressed overall with the stay here.

Great location and great bargain! Room was clean and well maintained. Great place to stay if you are in town for Sam Houston State sporting events!

Not ADA compliant. No elevators makes it different for someone with mobility issues to room on the second floor. Room was comfortable and clean. Towels ragged and not sufficient (1 face towel very worn). Desk clerk was very nice and accommodating.

Our rooms ceiling is spackled and looks like it’s been patched way too many time, the bathroom baseboards are rotting, and my husband slipped in the tub every time he tried moving. The only pluses are the bed was semi-comfy, the ac rocks, and there’s a fridge and microwave. Easy checkin tho lol.

The room was very clean, but there was only 1 tiny little bar of soap and an empty Kleenex box. There was very little water pressure in the bathroom sink. The shower was just okay. The bed was very comfy and we slept well.

Had to change rooms 2 times. First room had not even been seen by the house keepers beds unmade trash still in room. Second room bed had pee on it large pee spot on the sheet under the made bed blankets.

Good stay despite door issues
There was issues with the hotel door so I had to wait for someone to let me in and change the battery in the door, which took a half hour or so. Otherwise, it was good.

The cleanliness was very poor. There were roaches in the bathroom. I would not recommend this place to stay.
