Location and security was good

The fiberglass tube bottom was really sponge which made difficult to take a shower

Pros: Fair
Cons: SMELL
The room smelled horrible. Very disappointed for the price I paid. Bathroom very small. Smelled HORRIBLE!!!!!

Mold and Mildew

Pros: The staff was very friendly and had great customer service.
Cons: This location is old & shows wear and tear and has poorly done minor upgrades. Clearing needs to improve & rooms should be checked by a supervisor
Location: It was near lots of restaurants, shopping, and other hotels.
We arrived at the hotel around 12:30 am after a very long day of driving in the rain. When I got ready to shower in the morning the tub was peeling where the tub had been reglazed. The shower curtain was covered with mildew. I spoke to the clerk about the situation who apologized. I asked for a refund and was told they couldn't because I booked my room through Expedia. I took photos of the tub and shower curtains. I plan to contact Expedia for a refund.

Horrible service

They gave our room away TWICE and when I did finally got the room, it was a smoking room, despite the fact that we asked for non-smoking. Also I'm pretty sure we were eaten alive by bed bugs!! Would not EVER recommend!

Met our needs

Pros: Convenient.
Cons: Update rooms.
Location: We only stayed for one night but the hotel is very close to the Soave Camp in Huntsville.
Hotel is older and dated, but rooms were clean and comfy. The young lady who checked us in was an absolute doll.

Avoid this hotel

Cons: EVERYTHING
I made our reservation via Expedia and then called the hotel directly to confirm that they had it in their records. Reserved 1 room, non smoking king bed. When we arrived we were told that there were NO non-smoking rooms, no rooms with king bed and that the A/C was only partially functioning " So you know you don't have to call down to complain". the lobby was a mess with several men lingering about. I immediately cancelled the reservation. the desk clerk was good about giving me a written cancellation. We moved down the street a block.

Not what I wanted

Cons: The staff especially the night crew.
I did not get what I asked for and was assured on the telephone I would. I asked for a handicapped room with walk in shower, ground floor and lower bed height. Upon arrival was told no handicapped room was available and they did not have any walk in showers. Only one person on the staff was helpful at all, Her name was Gloria and she was a front desk employee. Even the manager was uncooperative almost to the point of being rude. I left a pair of pajamas in a room when moved to another, even though I was still at the hotel they could not be found. That tells me that they have one of two problems. They either have a cleaning staff that does not do their job and didn't find the pajamas that were left in the room when it was cleaned or they were taken by someone. I do not think I could ever stay at this facility again.

Room was clean, breakfast was good. On the down side, seemed like a hangout spot for locals and the maid left my room door open. Was not happy when I came back to hotel and found the door open.
