The property is close to the things we wanted to do and see. It is clean and parking is easy. Getting around Huntsville is confusing but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

We stayed here because of all the positive reviews. I'm glad we did. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in for a hotel and I felt the room was very clean.

I have to say - I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced this before - but we called in around 7pm to let the hotel know we wouldn’t be arriving until around 2-2:30am - said no problem. Upon arrival the doors were locked - definitely understandable that the staff had to use the bathroom and locked up for safety. Finally got to our room and everything was clean, beds were super comfortable, but we were woken up just before 9am by someone coming into our room. Positive side is that we were able to make it down to breakfast. When we came back up to shower before checking out, our door was open and beds were stripped. It is strange that cleaners/staff came into the room twice prior to checking out. I’m not sure how you prevent this. I would stay here again, but wouldn’t leave anything in the room and use all the locks.

The property looks like its been renovated. Clean rooms nice. However. I've never had a hotel say they canceled your room because you didn't check in at 3pm. I was on the highway. If I didn’t cancel or call before the cancel date that means I'm coming. He didnt have anything but 1 bed. I did get 2 beds on second night. He said he called. I was on highway never heard my phone ring. I suggestion. DON' T give a room away if the person didn’t call you and say there not coming. However. I was giving a discount for the inconvenience.

The hotel itself and the breakfast were not bad, but we didn't have hot water in the evening for showers, only tepid at best. In the morning there was hot water, so my conclusion is that they run out of hot water in the evening.

The property was easily accessible off a main thoroughfare but it was blessedly quiet. Staff was welcoming and helpful, breakfast was good, the room was very clean. I’ll stay here again for training any time!

What was most important was cleanliness! The property was very clean on the outside and inside. The room was nice and clean and had all of the important amenities needed for our stay. Also, we found the beds to be extremely comfortable!

Motel was clean but closer look shows evidence of multiple previous updates that is hard to hide. Clerks were friendly. Had a man smoking weed openly in the parking lot but I guess that is the world we live in today.

While the overall hotel & such looked clean & it is non smoking and smoke odor free. The 1st thing I noticed when I walked into our room is it smelled like arm pit or body odor. In my mind that tells me they likely don't clean the sheets quilts & bedspread on a regular basis.. Like any odor we got used to it within an hour or so. It definitely doesn't have that clean and sanitized smell though..

This is my 5th year at Sleep Inn to spend thanksgiving. The experience was terribly underwhelming this time. The cleaning staff disturbed my sleep from after 7am (too early for a non checking out guest) and by the time I left after 11 never came back to tidy the room. There was a water bug in my bathroom, I contacted the front desk and showed a picture of it and the male attendant who presented like a manager said “Oh we’ve been having a problem, the exterminators will come next week”. Hours later a I went back and got a broom from the female attendant and killed it myself for my own safety. One bright gem was Mason (I think his name was) - engaging, personable and pleasant. I think this is my last trip here to spend a week away from home.
